Some sites/boards are reporting that Brock will be at UFC 226 to challenge Stipe/DC winner

The report (which came from Meltzers newsletter) said that UFC has an offer to Brock & that if he accepts in time they want him at UFC 226.
Nothing is definite

Just more BS from click-bait sites & a reason I hated doing the little bit of media I did.
Most are truly ass-hats in MMA media (not Drake @Drake lol)

He has about 6 months left
If he enters the testing pool ASAP, he might have time to do NYE card
Has he even been tested recently or that doesn't matter?
same with Jon Jones? is he subject to tests currently?

or do they just have to be clean 6 months before?

seems to easy to just get jacked and then keep some "gains"

A few things that might be confusing

The old "4 month" rule for retired fighters is now 6 months
So any fighter that retired during the USADA era has to be tested for 6 months
Brock got the waiver because he retired prior to USADA (for 200)

Brock was suspended for one-year by USADA & retired with a rumored 6 months left to serve.
So the 6 month retired rule doesn't really matter since he has a rumored 6 months left anyway to be under USADA.

Of course I did not read the thread but my take away from the title is that Brock is rumored to have killed someone in southwestern Ontario.

Mainly because there is no history of journalistic ethics.
Most media are about getting retweets than substance.
Look at all the BS about UFC 225 buys & how wrong they are/were.
Its all about being first & not about accuracy.
Yep. Too much TMZ shit.

Sadly TMZ is far more credible
When I talked with several sites about coming aboard, all but two were concerned with "hits" & "retweets". Only two brought up content & credibility.
I understand that news is a business as well & that is important, but most nu-media cared more about saying they were "MMA media" than actual deserving to be.

Gee, I really had my hopes up for a Brock/Conor/Rousey/Jones round robin.
I was having dreams and everything.

But, the combination of this thread, Rousey's essential retirement, Conor's court proceedings/essential irrelevance, Jones court proceedings/ essential irrelevance, Brock's suspension & illegitimacy as a mixed martial artist, and the fact that I really don't give a flying fuck about a bunch of UFC cash cows, cheaters, criminals, or numbers-grabbers has eased me back into my normal prophetic dream-state.

6 months seems a bit much. Sometimes I really feel we need
someone to conduct oversight on USADA. They've gotten way outta hand.

Especially showing up unidentified the way they do. I think it was Chael
that said some scraggly lookin dude wanted him to go into a closest and piss
and wouldnt even identify himself with proper documentation.

Said he looked dirty and unprofessional

1. you really think USADA is too much?
2. take anything Chael says as a 70-30 chance of BS

1. Sometimes they just seem completely unregulated. I mean who makes sure USADA is dealing fairly?
Plus the fighters never signed up for this and were not involved in the deal to bring them in

2. You got me there. It was the way he told the story of how they came to test him and Wanderlei
He said the unprofessionalism that was shown to him that if he was Wandy he probably wouldnt have
pissed for them either.

I laughed when they knocked on Tim Kennedy's door and he pointed a pistol out at them.

This reminds me of the old Internet Wrestling Community days back during and before the Monday Night Wars. There was basically Meltzer's newsletter, and 10,000 sites regurgitating it with added 'commentary' by teenage fanboys.

Do you remember all the "He had an IC title written into his contract" reports (that were BS)?
Before Alvarez updated Meltzer to this new thing called "the internet", it was scary (like you said)

Want to laugh?
Some nitwit on SD is arguing with me that Paul Heyman is Brock's real life agent & is negotiating for Brock to return to UFC lol

Yeah I get that. Never know with Chael. Crazy story though. I can only hope
USADA has to at least present ID now when they show up to test you.

If not... fighters are denser then I even thought
The moment I had to stop believing anything CS said was when he said that Vince McMahon tried to buy UFC & that if the sale went through, he was going to shut it down without doing any events lol

1. Vince never wanted to buy UFC. Shane wanted him to buy Pride & Vince balked.
2. Doing that would be illegal & just cost Vince billions (which he didn't have)

I remember thinking I could find the regurgitated Meltzer anywhere, so I liked reading the interesting/weird characters that wrote columns. Chris Hyatt, that guy was a basket case, but funny as hell when he was on. Eric S, who ended up being the only dumbass who went on the news, face and name exposed, as a member of Anonymous. Lots more if I cared to remember. Ah, the innocent old days when goatse was extreme.

Wow. Chael gonna Chael I guess.

I wonder if psychologically he has trouble determining reality from his own stories of events
