Peter schemeical was a really shit pundit. But it was awesome yesterday seeing him react in the Danish dugout during the shootout

Do you speak any Portuguese? My ear can’t get it. I can pick up a little Spanish, but Portuguese almost sounds Ukrainian to me. I was in São Paulo for a couple months, and I didn’t pick up anything but “Obrigado”. I would sit in a restaurant and concentrate on a conversation 3 feet from me and I couldn’t pick up a single word. I actually thought I was good at languages until I went to Brazil.

Absolutely.

Lovely fella it seems to. His son held that team together last night.

Did the same at leicester when they won the league. The stats with and without him in the team that year were a stark contrast.

Looks like viking more and more...yes yes yes I know.

When I first heard it, it definitely sounded Slavic to me. It's also very nasal.

But if you know Spanish and listen to it enough, you start to pick it up. Its rhythm is slower than Spanish and a lot of common words are abbreviated (e.g. "ta" for "esta", the 3rd person singular English verb "be/is").

I can probably understand it better than Spanish at this point even though I never formally studied it.

Speaking I sound like a 5 year old. Or a retard. Or a 5-year-old retard.
