Yeah Josh is a bad guy to complain about drug testers trying to fuck him, given his history. But USADA have definitely gone rogue.
Personally I think they need to set up some guidelines. It's unfair that one fighter may be tested once, and his opponent has to go through 3 or 4 tests. It's also fucked that they will show up at 5 in the morning or whatever and wake people up. Or grab a guy like Mighty Mouse in the supermarket while he's shopping with his wife.
Yes they need to fight PEDs, but we also have to discuss the quality of life and privacy of the fighters. In real life there is a balance of privacy and security, it seems like with USADA there is no balance.

They allow up to 2 missed tests a year with no penalty, just a "warning".
So if you really wanna juice, you can just take an unannounced trip out of the country, do a cycle, and come back when your piss isn't hot any more.

In the case of Barnett he told them he was going to Europe so he wouldn't be at his home. They showed up at his home and then gave him a no show warning.
Barnett has cheated too much in the past for me to ever believe him, or feel sorry for him.
It sounded pretty fucked.
I really didn't like how he tried to pass off his previous positive roids tests as "Supplements were the wild west back then"...
Otherwise, a great interview between the two of them.
Facts. His excuse and alternate story game is tight af too. He still refuses to admit he ever did PEDs. He's so deep in his cover story that it's impossible to know what's real and what isn't.

Really? Then why is it the 2 most active posters in the thread (myself and @conor mcgregor nut hugger ) are also seemingly the only ones on the site who think JBJ should be getting a pass for when USADA railroaded him?
In his defense supplements a few years ago were like a jack in the box

and open the package out pops a 10 week stack of D Bol, Sustenon
and Winny.

Often times due to being targeted by supplement companies they would
see that Josh had ordered some simple protein shakes and ship him
Dbol instead just for a laugh and to fuck up his tests.
Poor guy
I couldn't tell you how many times I've went to pick up some whey protein at GNC and gotten home to find it was filled with vials of enathate and syringes.
Yeah it was a constant battle way back in the wild wild west of GNC

He knew he couldn’t leave the country without an itinerary of where he would be but did it anyway, he knew that if he took supplements that were not approved by USADA he was taking a risk but did so anyway, he knew that if he tested positive he would have to pay for the tests but bitched about it anyway, he knew that if you took a non approved supplement and tested positive they would give you a small suspension due to your carelessness but decided to fight USADA for over a year because of his “innocence” even though he was supposedly retired.
Barnett has always and will always be full of blames and excuses for his own shortcomings. He is a good fighter, but not an honest one.

This is hilarious.... I will say this though, supplement companies for a long time have been unregulated. Some of these companies are based (or at least were based) out of garages and warehouse facilities that shared with who knows what. (Pharmaceutical, Medical, Processed foods, Veterinary, Cleaning supplies, etc).
Companies didn't (and to this day still don't) have to disclose the ingredients of their products because they are 'proprietary blends', and disclosing the actual ingredients could jeopardize their business earnings. They often use fillers (like sawdust and ground up paper pulp) in these supplements. If the facility was a shared medical facility (where they made vitamins, or pharmaceutical meds), whatever was on the machines easily could have cross contaminated their products.
And GNC, all it is is a consignment shop for supplements.... Whoever pays the most to advertise their products, they get the biggest display in the shop.... And companies basically pay for their products to be in a GNC, it isn't a reputable place that "checks the products".
Long and short is this..... Barnett has been a multiple time PED user, however currently he's kinda been made an example of..... All supplement companies are basically a crap shoot when it comes to what actually is in their products.... And don't think that just because you got stuff in a GNC, it's a reputable product that can't possibly test positive for PED contaminates
Agreed. It's why I don't get fighters would buy their stuff there, knowing the risks. It's why I do not believe the tainted supplement excuse.
