ONE Championship in a RING???

I am subscribed to ONE on YouTube and saw a fight in a very large ring. It was two little fellas rolling around in there. I have been praying they would abandon the ABOMINABLE cage but it seems like it was only one event?

Does anyone know what's up with dat?

They went to a ring when they added kickboxing a few events ago. I believe that they’ve decided to stick with it for all future shows.

They are doing fights in either a cage or a ring under several different rulesets with 4oz gloves or 10 or whatever they come up with.

It might be mma rules in a cage or ring or kickboxing rules in a ring with big gloves or muay thai rules in a cage with mma gloves or any other possible combination of these elements.

They also overturn their own decisions after the events at their own discretion with no set protocol .

I thought I saw the change was official but perhaps it’s just gonna be an option for future events. Also I believe soccer kicks were banned about a year ago.

I would rather keep the rings smaller so they just naturally engage without referee interuption. The best UFCs are in their smaller cage.
