Couldn't agree more.
I find people few people actually "shit talk" well and instead simply imitate/mimic some character they've watched on t.v. or cinema. That interview showed the depth of his understanding of mma as a whole, and it was entertaining.

It's bizarre that this 'nobody is the best fighter because someone in the future might be better' argument actually gets traction with fans. It's so fucking dumb.

yeah man. there are very few fighters who i actually dislike. and he was one of them based entirely on that shit show press conference with chiesa

but i was mistaken. i saw a bunch of his interviews leading up to ferguson and went from hating him, to him being one of my favorite fighters/people in the sport

Right up there with, "Nobody stands a chance of beating the champion, so why bother watching any fights in this division." Heard that SO MUCH at strawweight when Joanna was champion.
