The UFC is bringing a big promotional event to Los Angeles.

On Wednesday, the promotion announced that there will be a “special” press conference Friday with “more than a dozen fighters” promoting upcoming UFC events. The press conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. PT and will be held at The Orpheum Theatre in LA. The festivities will be followed by the UFC 227 ceremonial weigh-ins.

For fans, tickets will be required. They can be obtained for free through ticketmaster.com, beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday morning.

No fighters have been officially announced for what the UFC is calling its “25th anniversary seasonal press conference.” Tyron Woodley and Darren Till, who will headline UFC 228 on Sept. 8 in Dallas, will be on hand, officials told MMA Fighting.

I think it helps UFC & MMA over-all
It gets people talking
Conor back & Brock's antics (plus mentions of him leaving WWE to go to UFC) keeps MMA in the news & pulse of casuals.

It doesn't mean 100k will buy Saturday that were not interested but people that are on the fringe have more of a chance to be excited by MMA again.
