Could be a lot of things which are all fun to speculate about.

Is this Conor biting back for the UFC stripping him of his titles? The UFC 200 debacle? Bitterness about allowing Ronda radio silence leading up to a fight? Would really like to know how Conor's relationship is with the new owners too.

Hopefully we'll see Conor releasing content through his own media channels in the coming weeks.

What a tard. Ireland is a parliamentary democracy, there's no President
worse than that is the girlish guy questioning him and then conor answers and girlish guy says "that's what i'm talking about"

does this guy make money doing that? if so, replacement coming soon.

Then his lack of promotion must be training-related. I imagine he'll ratchet everything up a notch as the event draws nearer though.

What else would explain it?
It doesn't take much to set up an interview from Ireland for ESPN (or others)
That can be done after he trains.

it can be a bargaining thing or just a power play
I'm guessing that after he saw that the tix sold like crazy & its the biggest MMA gate outside of MSG, he figured ... FOOK EM

Agreed. People are also forgetting that he spent a very significant amount of time focusing on his boxing pre-Mayweather. This is the same guy who was already one of the best strikers in the UFC. He picked Alvarez apart on the feet before raising his boxing game. I imagine his accuracy/angles/hand-speed are now all a level better than before. Khabib will need to get a takedown quickly each round or it might be nighty-nite for the eagle.
Very true... because of how serious Conor’s taking this fight, i’m leaning toward Conor again

Conor learned his lesson against Diaz about talking shit to an mma fighter that can whoop his ass.

Mcgregor only needs one press conference for the whole event to create meltdown. He has more gold in one than any fighter has in a lifetime.,

Technically we have both, Micheal Higgins is the president but its mostly a figure head position, its Leo whose the Taoiseach, i.e prime minister.
Fookin 'ell, after writing that I thought, oh shit, they might have one of those figurehead presidents.

lol @ suggesting that someone might wish to search your previous posts over something like that.

lol you may wish to search my previous posts and note that I am a fan of a semi-colon
you'd still have a full colon if you hadn't misspent your college years in Turkish bath houses.

regarding the OP, I think Conor knows more about promoting this fight than UFC.

Conor isn't going to get the heat from extended verbal exchanges from Khabib, like he would with Diaz or Mayweather. There's always enough time for what's important, and Conor's time is better spent in the gym. The best promotion for this fight is going to be the scuffle at the MGM between Conor and Khabib's crew during fight week.

Artem gets bodyslammed through a blackjack table by Khabib's sister , and dies in Conor's arms.

I wonder if Conor is focusing on sprawl and brawl or BJJ his way out and up. I think this is definitely a risky fight for him. Hopefully he's training both, which takes a lot of time and commitment. He should be on the mat literally every day until first of October.

I'm betting on sprawl n brawl based on how good his timing and distance is.

MSN article following up on Meltzers report

Conor McGregor's return to octagon turning into UFC's biggest headache

McGregor is virtually silent ahead of his clash with Nurmagomedov, the ferocious Russian wrestling expert with a 26-0 record and current favorite to win the matchup. As the clock ticks down toward fight week, McGregor refuses to fly to the United States for promotional events, is shunning interviews and appearances and is pretty much turning down everything the UFC asks of him.

Lol @ "asks of him"

Put it in the contract so you don't have to ask, goofs.

As much I love The Conor Show I'm not upset at his a tions so far. He knows full well if he loses all the pathetic haters will be "see, I told ya he sucked lol!" all the while claiming Khabib is invincible. You know, because losing to this Russian bear slayer means you're garbage.

All I ask is that he keeps a few personal insults going on IG and delivers at the presser for the event.

i hope khabib picks him up and slams him on his head like frank shamrock vs zinoviev and ends it in 22 seconds
