I haven't been a regular watcher since 2004 or so, but usually when I flip it on they're in the middle of some cheesy segment, or some bum is butchering an awful promo.

Its overly scripted & rarely makes sense
They have about 30 writers, but Vince micro manages everything

That's a shame. Didn't they have some of their greatest success when they let guys truly develop and work their character themselves?
I guess I've been spoiled by the guys who can really rock the mic and deliver riveting promos. I flip on WWE every once and awhile an inevitably think "who the hell decided to give this person a mic and promo time?" Some of those guys and gals are just cringe inducing.
