An investigation would further remove any doubt from Kavanaugh if the FBI stated he appeared to be innocent of the accusations. No sweat of his balls.
She does need to be questioned about it, because she left out about ten neurotransmitters that have something to do with memory formation. She also left out how the Limbic system, particularly the Amygdala has a role in attaching emotion to memories-which may have helped her. And no matter how they are formed, they are not accurate this long out.

When asked point blank if he would support or ask for an FBI investigation he refused to answer the question, numerous times. At one point a senator stated, I will take your refusal to answer as a no and Kavanaugh didnt disagree with her statement.
Again, an innocent man would be demanding any and all investigations and tool available to him to clear his name... no?

Repressed memories are a sham. The brain will fit in what it thinks should happen based on past experiences. There was a study where the people faked a car crash, they interviewed the witnesses (people on the street that witnessed the fake wreck) Something like 30% said they saw, saw, the ambulance come and take one of the people away to the hospital. This was right after they witnessed it. There was never an ambulance on the scene.
