Just finished episode 7. Really good so far but iirc this is usually when the season hits a lull. Hopefully this one is the exception.

Great season overall.
The ending was a little underwhelming imo though.
Also I was under the impression this was the last season?

Everything was great except the ending. It just kinda sputtered out.
Naseem's character was more disposable than I expected.
Aside from the cheesy ending with Bullseye it felt like a series finale the way everything kind of reset. I hope we'll get more. This one is in a different league compared to the other series.

Netflix’s “Daredevil” went viral in April 2015 thanks to a season one fight scene that was edited together to look like an uninterrupted shot running three minutes. The hallway fight became a staple of the show’s inaugural run, earning over 2 million views on YouTube and making funs wonder when the Marvel series would ever try to do something that ambitious again. The answer, as fans are now discovering, is in the fourth episode of the newly released third season. The installment, entitled “Blindsided,” features a one take that lasts 10 minutes and 43 seconds.

What makes the season three long take such a jaw-dropping feat isn’t its length but the fact it really is a single, uninterrupted shot. Showrunner Erik Oleson recently told Vulture the fight scene is an actual 11-minute take and not several shots stitched together like the season one fight scene or Alejandro González Iñárritu’s movie “Birdman.”

My favourite single shot fight scene.

I have watched the first two seasons of Dare Devil. Enjoyed season 2.

Struggled to get going on the Defenders. I was not a big fan of the first season of Iron Fist or Jessica Jones. I have no interest in the Fist as the villain.

Can enjoy season 3 without watching the Defenders first and still keep up to speed?

You can still enjoy it but if you didn't like defenders maybe find a recap video on youtube or something. There's some stuff that might be helpful going in.

I had to skip some of the posts to avoid spoilers but I'm just wrapping up episode 12 and I'll watch the finale tonight. This is by far the best season of the 3. Disappointed in the Nadeem's underwhelming demise, even more disappointed at Poindexter's unsportsmanlike dueling skills.

Punisher would have had this wrapped up in 3 episodes.

Thor in .25 of one episode.

My only real beef with the series is the volume of serious beatings he takes. He gets put on queer street like every episode and then just keeps on moving.

Finally finished watching so I can pop in this thread now. Awesome season. Better for being sans Elektra for sure. This was great DD-Kingpin stuff, felt just like a comic arc.

Nadeem was a bad kill - he could have easily been the type of character to pop up in other Marvel contexts - great character, great casting. Great name, Rahul is a great Bollywood hero name.

Loved the way they did Bullseye. I knew as soon as he showed they were going to have a fight in a church, because they always do, but the only thing missing was some giant stained glass window breaking.

In any case, I liked that they didn't pull any punches with Bullseye - there weren't really any moments I don't think when I thought, he should have done this, or why didn't he throw that, etc. Great going all around imo.

The placement of the Karen episode was a little annoying, because it was right at the point of the story when another superhero would have shown up and gotten involved, although it was a well-done episode.

But really, the season was spectacular. By far the best of any of these shows, I agree.

Two thoughts on this:
1. Thor should have showed up instead of the Karen episode.

2. Bullseye better not try any of that shit with Thor.

About halfway through. The action in this series compared to the rest in this marvel netflix is night and day. Dunno if it is Charlie Cox, the choreography, or just I prefer the style. but it is so good compared.

Think it is just a matter of time till it gets cancelled though. They will let it get to a tilt point of being released/watched then announce. You wouldnt announce it till a while after release.
