That's what I figured. I'm really enjoying the whole "This is the most important election the U.S. has ever had!" coverage.
It would be nice if the Republicans could come out ahead so we can continue the track we've been on as a country. Shit is going pretty good. If the Dems are victorious, which I fully expect, my fear is that we'd have nothing but obstruction until 2020.
So it's important. But probably not quite as important as some are making it out to be. That's just a ploy to scare people to get them off their ass and vote.
In 2 years...
- Unemployment is at an all time low.
- Rocket Man isn't launching missiles over Japan every other month.
- The trade agreements have been fixed.
- Tax cuts.
- Corporate tax reform will pay huge dividends to a better economy
- Strongest job growth since 1997
And to get all that all we have to do is put up with a president who doesn't always sound very presidential.

Umm, the trade agreements are nowhere near fixed. In a lot of ways they're worse now than they were before.
Nah. They'll shake out.
I wish I had any reason to believe that. They didn't fix the auto or dairy industry, and there are still tariffs in place. Apparently The Don didn't get the memo that income taxes replaced tariffs and you aren't supposed to have one with the other.
