By another gigantic freak using weight-cutting to beat up on WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY smaller guys and being super disrespectful and vicious in the process?

The guy KO's Roundtree with a BEAUTIFUL elbow, but then ruins it by punching a clearly out cold opponent two times super hard and then hip checking the shit out of the ref.

No buono...............

Cutting really needs to be banned...

disrespectful and vicious is the way i like mma fighters to be. there needs to be balance, but the disrespectful/vicious fighters are awesome

*oh wait edit. vicious is great in a sporting context but once the contest is over, it is no longer acceptable.

I'm ambivalent. I'm generally not fond of disrespectful fighters (although some trash talk is fine). But the existing rules are there to be exploited and any guy or gal or can gain an advantage by making weight despite being naturally bigger, well, all the more power to them. Weight cuts aren't easy, as we've seen many times. Fighters can be drained and unable to perform at a top level if they don't handle it right.

Far worse, IMO, is fighters who repeatedly miss weight to gain an advantage. That shit is inexcusable.

I've read some stories from people who have allegedly trained with him. Said that he trains too hard & looks to hurt others. WTF dude

The late shots are wrong and inexcusable.

Hip-checking the ref from that position is no big deal imo, the way a person can be amped up from being in a fight makes it impossible to suddenly switch off in an instant.

I have to disagree on all counts.

I don't have a problem with weight as long as you can make the weight. You sign a contract saying you're going to be within a certain weight at the weigh in, that's your only responsibility. Weight cutting is a part of the sport, if a guy is better at it than other people in that he can cut more weight and come in bigger, good for him.

I had no problem with the follow up punches. I didn't think Khalil was out cold until the final punch anyway.

So you are good with hip checking refs and viciously punching obviously KO'd opponents?

I see it in children, they often hamm it up after doing something they understand to be wrong. His behaviour seemed similar in that respect.
I was just talking about the backflip
I bet he can dunk

And you are 100% then with him tossing the referee?

And if you think that Khalil wasn't out then I guess you believe he likes to defend punches by being completely stiff with his arms at his sides? Go watch the video again and tell me that stiff arms are a sign of not being KO'd..............

Nah, bruh. That's a clear sign of someone being a POS. I have watched MMA since 1992 ("free fight" tapes from Chinatown in NYC) and I have seen people bang into refs MAYBE ten times in 26 years. And he tossed him off and LOOKED at the ref like fuck you.

This guy is BAD NEWS....... mark my words...

Social media has really brought us so many great things....... What did I do for the first 30 years of my life not being able to see athletes acting like fools at two in the morning and posting it on the internet????
Bitched about shit like this to your family members and co-workers?
