Saw that.

Kemp is old, but he should be able to hit 30 HR out of GABP. I'm OK with him. I really hope they don't intend to stick him in CF. We've been spoiled with the greatest CF in the game - Billy Hamilton - and Kemp would be a MONUMENTAL downgrade from a defensive standpoint.

Puig is an interesting add. This town likes players that hustle and play smart. Puig is neither of those. He might have taken some heat from the media in LA for not hustling - but if he does that shit here he won't have to worry about the media - he will get relentlessly boo'd by the fans. This city has zero tolerance for laziness. Puig doesn't feel like a good fit for this city. At all.

Wood might be a great add. I think he's a pretty good ground ball pitcher, which you absolutely have to be to have success in GABP. And that's what Cincy is short on. Starting pitching. I think the Reds have a solid core of position players. They aren't as far away from turning this shit around as their W/L record would indicate.

As for Bailey - I would have taken a bucket of wet pig shit for Homer. I'm glad he's gone. My assumption is LA was after the prospects with this trade. I don't know much about them - other than the fact that they were high draft picks.

Looking at the Reds roster - I'm not sure what they are doing with getting both Kemp & Puig. We are already loaded with corner outfielders. Maybe they intend to flip an outfielder and get more pitching? Which I am all for.

The more I dig into this, the more it doesn't make sense for LA.
Homer sucks - they don't need him.

Unless they are trying to free up some salary space for Harper?

They're going to eat the money on the Homer deal and buy him out. Still saves them money and since the Yankees aren't going after Harper he's going to end up with the Dodgers. His ego needs a big market so it just makes sense.
