Now that Conor McGregor is cleared to fight for April, UFC president Dana White would like to see the former featherweight and lightweight champion return to the Octagon as early as summer.
As far as an opponent goes, White would like to see McGregor lock horns with fan favorite Donald Cerrone, who has bantered back-and-forth with ‘The Notorious’ over the last few weeks on social media.
According to White, both fighters have ‘earned’ the match-up.
