I think everybody believes in some conspiracies. It just depends on the size, scope, and definition of what the individual considers a conspiracy.
Many are afraid or hesitant to admit the ones they do have interest or believe in.
The term Conspiracy Theorist itself has been demonized.

CIA pushed the term in a negative way to discredit those questioning the assassination of JFK

As for me, I remain undecided on many of them. I am however, not afraid or mad at anyone for asking questions though.

The same gameplans and blueprints have been used for hundreds if not thousands of years, so if you examine the past you can often interpret the present.

Is it really bad form to question or consider theories about how the wheels of the world turn? In my opinion it is not.

People who strive for power also seek control.

People do not seek to be held accountable for their actions.

Much of history is a collection of reports made by individuals, none of them unbiased.

It's difficult to trust many things when keeping in mind those previous statements.

Michael Jordan was suspended from the NBA for gambling and owing large sums of money to a drug dealer which led to his fathers death. He did not retire on his own accord, he was secretly forced out and played baseball to cover his tracks.

He knew America and the media would be too preoccupied following his new career to look into anything suspicious.

When Jordan retired he was asked if he will return to basketball one day, part of his answer was, “five years down the road, if the urge comes back, if the Bulls will have me, if David Stern lets me back in the league, I may come back."

If David Stern let’s me back? Why wouldn’t he? Hmmmmmm...

You sir, have balls.
Gave a specific example.

I also sense fuckery with the Jordan retirement and death of his father.

You strike me as such an intelligent man, and yet you believe no two parties or individuals have ever conspired to commit a hurtful or unlawful act in the history of mankind?
That's not what a conspiracy theory entails. That's a conspiracy. Plenty exist. Plenty are proven.

The problem with conspiracy theories is that a great majority have no end. They can never be satisfied.

I personally do not subscribe to the lone gunman theory regarding JFK.
Not claiming to know for sure what went on, but I suspect James Files was one of a group of hitmen who were assigned to kill JFK that day in Dallas.

There are so many theories regarding that day it is hard to separate the wheat from the chaff, the waters are muddy(IMO intentionally muddy).

That would have been the worst cover up plan of all time.

Ahh, I see now.

I fully agree that they(theories) can have no end, and one must remain in a position where they cannot say for sure what is accurate and what is speculation.

Thread title only said "what conspiracies" so I assumed you were answering that question.

When proven they move into the Conspiracy confirmed category of course.

The fact that some are eventually confirmed has shown me to not throw out all theories without some consideration or thought(if I have time to do so).

I, by no means subscribe or believe in all Conspiracy Theories, I find some utterly implausible(yet I am always willing to be proven wrong).

I am just not willing to throw the baby(all CTs) out with the bathwater(implausible/far fetched CTs)

In essence are you saying you only believe in proven conspiracies, and have no belief or read on those that are just theories?
The above is certainly a way to stay focused and best use your time for what you can control.

The problem then lies in what information we have, often the evidence or information needed to confirm said theory is suppressed an/or hidden...so yes we are often left in the grey area between black and white.

Let's really separate the normies from the Eddie bravos...

We landed on the moon. Anyone here think we didn't?

I read the theories. They are interesting thought experiments. Way too often I find them exhausting when no amount of proof can put them to rest.

We landed on the moon.
What is the evidence that leads you to this conclusion? Landing site? TV footage? Data calculations? Astronaut interviews?
I personally wonder why we haven't gone back in nearly 50 years, that is about the extent of my thinking on the subject.

Re read the second post in the thread if you want to know where I end up on nearly everything(almost all CTs and events I have no knowledge of and cannot re-create)...It is an uncomfortable place to say "I am not sure" but that is exactly where I often end up.

I was not born yet, and have very little knowledge of space travel or technology of the past and present.

I am open to any information and/or evidence...the moon landing is not of great concern to me personally...I am more concerned with what is going on locally and in my immediate area.

The fact that Operation Northwoods(12 Page Document Drafted March 1962) came across the presidents desk leaves me open to considering False Flags
https://www.thedossier.info/documents/operation-northwoods.pdf
President Kennedy vetoed this Operation

It contains operations that would have used drone vessels(sea) and/or drone civilian planes(air) and used false flag attacks on them as Justification for Military Intervention in Cuba

There are many options in this document consisting of various false flag suggestions which would allow the US to intervene in Cuba.

Entire document is fascinating and scary, I recommend reading it all if you are interested...If not then pages 7-11 include the various suggestions which mirror later confirmed false flags and also mirror theorized false flags of recent history.

This document has been declassified and is not theory, it is part of public record.

I don't doubt that some men landed on the moon.
Some of the footage purported to be of astronauts on the moon looks staged.

To me, those are separate issues.

I don't believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, but I have no opinion on who else was actually involved. Just so many weird aspects for it to be a simple John Hinckley-style lone crazy situation in my opinion.

And of course the lizard people are putting fluoride in our water to make us autistic 9/11 Hijackers. That's just common sense.
