I literally 100% agree with you here.

I think you misunderstand me

I don't trust any government. NASA was once a hideaway for Nazis for petes sake.

That doesn't stop one from becoming scientifically literate though
OK but what exactly does 'scientifically literate' mean then?

If we are to be skeptical at all of self-imposed scientific authorities, then what is left that we can really 'know', or be 'literate' about? How much of what we consider to be 'scientifically literacy' is nothing more than believing what we're told by Rockefeller encyclopedias, Hollywood versions of reality/history, and corrupt-government-designed curriculums? It really does get a bit crazy when we start to weigh how much we actually know for ourselves via direct experience & observation vs simply believing we've been told. I think this is where FEers lose their minds, they perceive so many lies from high places that they feel the need to throw everything out and start from absolute scratch, and this is for sure wildly disorienting.

I do think its cool that you guys actually get your equipment out and study astronomy for yourselves, in this aspect you are miles ahead of the FE'ers. I haven't heard any explanations yet for the observed predictable motions of planetary bodies in the FE model.

One part of FE lore that I did find interesting however was that the 'Pale Blue Dot'/size relativity does make us seem completely insignificant in the bigger picture. While this may be true, the philisophical results of of our own collective self view of humanity etc does take a massive 180 as a result. The FE'ers claim its a psychological trick to rob us of our self-value and awe of this spectacular and sacred world we live in/on, to make us morally relative, to not give a shit about ourselves and continue down an atheist mindset... a FE model for example would do the exact opposite, make us the center of something absolutely divine and worth honoring. (or am I wrong? does the pale blue dot perhaps give some folk an ever bigger appreciation for creation/divine beauty/human value?)

While again I must repeat I'm not a FEer, I do think this shift of self-perception as a result of geocentric to heliocentric model is worth pondering.

I have some limited experience with telescopes, I remember being blown away at how amazingly sharp/in focus the MOON looked through even a modest telescope. It looked like it was right there very close to us in perfect focus. Bizarre

All knowledge is built on the work of others since the written word was invented.
All of mankind's achievements are from standing on the shoulders of those who came before them.

When I say Scientifically literate I mean having the ability to understand the scientific process
and command it enough to do basic research and test ideas.

Example - You will often hear FE'rs say "I have a Theory why XYZ standard model is wrong"
or I have a Theory why the Earth is Flat

That mere statement demonstrates that they not only don't have a theory they
literally do not even know what a theory is. A theory is among the highest form of
substantiated, verfiable and testable evidence.

A theory is peer reviewed. Tested over and over and demonstrated to predict the correct
answers over and over... and 3rd parties must also be able to take your theory and test
it and have it produce the same results that you produced.

Most FEr's don't even understand the difference between a Theory and a completely
untested Hypothesis or idea.

When I hear stuff like that there is no use even engaging them. Its a waste of
time. They are not scientifically literate enough to even engage

I could go on and on with examples where they demonstrate zero working knowledge of science.

As far as the Pale Blue Dot... I think its a matter of one's perspective.

"Does the pale blue dot perhaps give some folk an ever bigger appreciation for creation/divine beauty/human value?"

It sure does for me. It makes me feel connected to something greater then myself
and also makes me appreciate the Earth and Cosmos I live in

For some people it offends their religious beliefs and makes them feel small

I don't fault them for that. How one feels is how one feels and they have a right to feel
that way.

A bunch of liars lieing for each other to collect those billions that NASA gets every year from taxpayers.

Once you see that the moon landings are ridiculous the whole ground kinda starts to get shaky as to what we can trust or not, lol

I'm a liar for NASA sure. My sisters and family of Astronomers are all liars as well.

All my friends that spent their entire careers pursuing their passions in science are all just clowns and liars

I cant do this...

Show me a single working piece of technology any of your youtube
couch science quacks created.

A single piece of technology based on their flat earth formulas??

Just one....?

Till then

You lost me man

PS - And if you actually did science and knew how small and insignificant
NASA'S budget was in comparison to what the government spends you'd
realize how silly talking about their "Billions" was.

Geezzus my god.

This is the problem with conspiracy theorists. They're presented with a fuck ton of evidence as to why the shit they're saying makes no sense, and they choose to go with bro science YouTube videos and Facebook posts.

They just lose me man. I am highly skeptical and I literally cannot
stand the crooked government.

Sit down and talk to me and they'd find I'm super skeptical
of government and authority just like them

I can't go full retard with them though. They cant do basic algebra
and calculus to test a simple sphere earth model and they
want people to take them seriously.

They have to resort to silly youtube videos and cracking jokes
to make a point that they don't have the fundamental math and
science skill set to demonstrate.

Eddie cracks me up. Weed might actually kill brain cells. Lol

I did look into and I'm still a bit skeptical about chemtrails however.

Researchers actually have nanobots that they can inject into your blood stream so
at least some of that argument is plausible. Couple that with the fact the government
has demonstrated they are willing to secretly poison part of the population
and one can form a hypothesis to start testing.

I have a very open mind

But if FEr's want me to engage them they gotta show me they are at least
competent and worth having a discussion with

I had a fraudulent lawsuit by an NASA astronaut against me for 2 years...she was a total nut job
wanted to sue me for all I was worth, for a very minor fender bender which she denied medical and law enforcement attention at the scene...Claimed her Kid was now scared to drive in cars and that her life had been ruined

Luckily I have Military family coverage USAA and they put that puppy on ice

Has nothing to do with the thread but that bish was a fraud...at the scene her husband looked at me with "fucking oh shit dude you just triggered my psycho" eyes.

The fact that you spelled it "lieing" ......... that alone........... says it all.

Billions of dollars, big baller "NASA money."

LMAO

NASA's budget is not even a fucking rounding error of the governments budget.

My sister has a Masters degree in Molecular Biology and a PhD in Particle Physics.
Shes balling so hard on her NASA money that every week her piece of shit nissan
breaks down and I have to give her a ride to the University so she can go lie
on a peer review and keep that NASA money raining

that is some tinfoil hat shit bro...you might need to be committed
kidding nanobots probably flew up our asses years ago or we ate them in our food
LOL I probably need to be committed jokes aside...

The shit that rolls around in my head is definitely crackpot at times

What I don't do is state that I have a working Theory and try to overturn
an entire body of tested and verifiable work.

I keep my crackpot ideas to myself and button that shit up deep down
inside like a person with common sense. LMAO

one thing I know for sure is that one persons beliefs are another persons crazy talk
world is crazy like that
we are all correct about some things and way off base about others
Nanobots are crazy...and whatever we think we know, is probably 20 year old technology
Very few cutting edge technologies are disclosed to public right when they are created

I don't hold much inside as far as thoughts...but I am rarely sold to any idea or belief
I am just enjoying the ride

It does make one incapable of demonstrating a logically sound
and cogent argument though
Not in my opinion....it can make it more difficult to communicate if you use broken english and few rules of the language..incapable is a stretch to me

I abandon much sentence structure and punctuation on purpose

Grew up with a english major for a parent busting balls so I don't follow those rules online...mini rebellion for no reason

I can follow all the rules if I need to but I don't think the backside of a Karate forum is the place for strict rules.

Haha I'm with ya!

The shit they release is almost never the shit they are currently working on

My own sister has shown me that many times.

As far as crazy ideas... I was telling another forum member how myself
and my family and friends all go to graduate Astronomy and Science
bar drinking nights.

You'd have a blast. You get some of the most highly educated researchers
drunk and talking about crazy shit they would never say on stage.
