OK but what exactly does 'scientifically literate' mean then?I literally 100% agree with you here.
I think you misunderstand me
I don't trust any government. NASA was once a hideaway for Nazis for petes sake.
That doesn't stop one from becoming scientifically literate though
All knowledge is built on the work of others since the written word was invented.OK but what exactly does 'scientifically literate' mean then?
If we are to be skeptical at all of self-imposed scientific authorities, then what is left that we can really 'know', or be 'literate' about? How much of what we consider to be 'scientifically literacy' is nothing more than believing what we're told by Rockefeller encyclopedias, Hollywood versions of reality/history, and corrupt-government-designed curriculums? It really does get a bit crazy when we start to weigh how much we actually know for ourselves via direct experience & observation vs simply believing we've been told. I think this is where FEers lose their minds, they perceive so many lies from high places that they feel the need to throw everything out and start from absolute scratch, and this is for sure wildly disorienting.
I do think its cool that you guys actually get your equipment out and study astronomy for yourselves, in this aspect you are miles ahead of the FE'ers. I haven't heard any explanations yet for the observed predictable motions of planetary bodies in the FE model.
One part of FE lore that I did find interesting however was that the 'Pale Blue Dot'/size relativity does make us seem completely insignificant in the bigger picture. While this may be true, the philisophical results of of our own collective self view of humanity etc does take a massive 180 as a result. The FE'ers claim its a psychological trick to rob us of our self-value and awe of this spectacular and sacred world we live in/on, to make us morally relative, to not give a shit about ourselves and continue down an atheist mindset... a FE model for example would do the exact opposite, make us the center of something absolutely divine and worth honoring. (or am I wrong? does the pale blue dot perhaps give some folk an ever bigger appreciation for creation/divine beauty/human value?)
While again I must repeat I'm not a FEer, I do think this shift of self-perception as a result of geocentric to heliocentric model is worth pondering.
I have some limited experience with telescopes, I remember being blown away at how amazingly sharp/in focus the MOON looked through even a modest telescope. It looked like it was right there very close to us in perfect focus. Bizarre
When I say Scientifically literate I mean having the ability to understand the scientific processOK but what exactly does 'scientifically literate' mean then?

Herp a derpOnce you see that the moon landings are ridiculous the whole ground kinda starts to get shaky as to what we can trust or not, lol
Freaky-land
I'm a liar for NASA sure. My sisters and family of Astronomers are all liars as well.lol @ 'peer reviews'
A bunch of liars lieing for each other to collect those billions that NASA gets every year from taxpayers.
This is the problem with conspiracy theorists. They're presented with a fuck ton of evidence as to why the shit they're saying makes no sense, and they choose to go with bro science YouTube videos and Facebook posts.I'm a liar for NASA sure. My sisters and family of Astronomers are all liars as well.
All my friends that spent their entire careers pursuing their passions in science are all just clowns and liars
I cant do this...
Show me a single working piece of technology any of your youtube
couch science quacks created.
A single piece of technology based on their flat earth formulas??
Just one....?
Till then
You lost me man
They just lose me man. I am highly skeptical and I literally cannotThis is the problem with conspiracy theorists. They're presented with a fuck ton of evidence as to why the shit they're saying makes no sense, and they choose to go with bro science YouTube videos and Facebook posts.
Eddie cracks me up. Weed might actually kill brain cells. LolDamn it Kron, do u realize Eddie Bravo is the enemy of the Gracie clan?
that is some tinfoil hat shit bro...you might need to be committed
The fact that you spelled it "lieing" ......... that alone........... says it all.lol @ 'peer reviews'
A bunch of liars lieing for each other to collect those billions that NASA gets every year from taxpayers.
Billions of dollars, big baller "NASA money."The fact that you spelled it "lieing" ......... that alone........... says it all.
spelling and grammer does not a man makeThe fact that you spelled it "lieing" ......... that alone........... says it all.
LOL I probably need to be committed jokes aside...that is some tinfoil hat shit bro...you might need to be committed
kidding nanobots probably flew up our asses years ago or we ate them in our food
It does make one incapable of demonstrating a logically soundspelling and grammer does not a man make

lolLOL I probably need to be committed jokes aside...
The shit that rolls around in my head is definitely crackpot at times
What I don't do is state that I have a working Theory and try to overturn
an entire body of tested and verifiable work.
I keep my crackpot ideas to myself and button that shit up deep down
inside like a person with common sense. LMAO
Not in my opinion....it can make it more difficult to communicate if you use broken english and few rules of the language..incapable is a stretch to meIt does make one incapable of demonstrating a logically sound
and cogent argument though
Haha I'm with ya!lol
one thing I know for sure is that one persons beliefs are another persons crazy talk
world is crazy like that
we are all correct about some things and way off base about others
Nanobots are crazy...and whatever we think we know, is probably 20 year old technology
Very few cutting edge technologies are disclosed to public right when they are created
I don't hold much inside as far as thoughts...but I am rarely sold to any idea or belief
I am just enjoying the ride
