Goodell gave himself a huge amount of power, made up the rules as he went along, heard his own appeal, hand picked the federal court and still lost!

Meh. Goodell is a piece of shit and the NFL should seriously look into how they handle their suspensions. Bounty gate, deflate gate, Ray Rice, and Adrian Peterson penalties all overturned. Wu Tang Clan NFL Players Association aint nothing to fuck with!

This ruling basically questions the authority of every suspension handed out by the NFL. Like you said, the NFLPA got some great fucking lawyers, not sure where this is going to lead to though? How can Goodell & his cronies be an 'authority' on football when your viewed as laughing stock with minimal muscle?

He wants to hand down a 4 game suspension without any evidence. That's fine, but when the player appeals, he should not be allowed to be the arbiter of his own case! That's abuse of power. Abraham Lincoln didn't spend his life slaying vampires so Goodell could rule with an iron fist and make up the rules as he goes. Abraham Lincoln wanted Tom Brady to play game 1.

The Pats have no shame.

I wonder how much the owner paid the judge.
Goodell got the case in the federal court they wanted. It was apparently a league friendly environment. The judge told both parties multiple times they should reach a settlement without him handing down a ruling, but they never came to an agreement. The judge asked Goodell if they could provide any direct evidence that Brady tampered with the balls and they could not provide any. Pats still got fined money and still lose draft picks.

I find it funny that Jersey celebrates this... mostly because the state is shaped like a turd, and has as many football teams as one.
