Perhaps the white nationalist movement has always wanted unions, owning the means of production, green movements, and view much of capitalism as a jewish conspiracy. If so I didn't know that. And it still doesn't change that's what's being fomented and distilled on 8chan and is represented in his manifesto...the thing we are talking about.

I'm not kidding when I tell you that 8chan (and 4chan pol) is a pressure cooker for this type of guy. It's a modern internet troll version of white nationalism that is ebbing and flowing in ideology in the pursuit of a psuedo-intellectual justification of white nationalism. You guys getting triggered by left and right, words that commonly fail, and especially here, because you're worried this guy might not fall in to the right camp misses the point. These guys aren't going to look or sound like the usual "took my jerbs" redneck white nationalist. They are attempting to piggy back on any number of current movements as a means to the same racist end.

They can justify their shit through anything...

Green jobs? Self sufficiency against brown countries.
Workers rights and unions? Protect against brown immigrants.
Capitalism? The tool of the jews to control the wealth.

They'll probably change to whatever it takes to be appealing to any white person on the surface. There will be more disaffected young white men that don't have their own identity that they can use these links to bring them into the fold.

Getting riled up that this guy is a white nationalist but I better not mention he is all about green movements and or anti capitalism elements is missing the point if you have any interest in understanding this insanity and then subverting it.

I read parts of his manifesto, but I'm not going to read all that shit. I also read an article posted by bellingcat about his forum posting as well as several others. He identifies himself a fascist. I didn't read anything about workers controlling the means of production, but maybe he said it. But he identifies as a fascist - not a lefty or a communist. At best, at best, you've identified inconsistencies (of course, he's a complete nut) in his political viewpoints.

But it's absolutely irrelevant. The only coherent motivation between his political ideology and his actions is his unwavering commitment to white nationalism and racism - there's absolutely nothing inconsistent about that. He didn't kill Muslims in a mosque because of any 'left-wing or commie' politics - he may have had some left-wing values mixed in with extreme right-wing values, but it was extreme right-wing ideas and inspiration from right-wing terrorists that led to the murders. That's where you are being completely disingenous or at least you should realize that that's what it looks like. It's moving the goalposts and you end up in a position, taking your argument, that we can never point to a particular ideology as being the primary motivator behind a terrorist attack as long as we can find any contradictions in their deranged political beliefs.

Hence why I brought up the Antifa counter-example - if some lunatic claims that the antifa bike lock guy was his inspiration for assassinating some conservative pundit or blowing up an investment bank lobby on Wall Street, if it turns out he wrote a manifesto that was also in favor of marijuana criminalization are we going to go 'hmm, I don't think we can call this left-wing terrorism because I'm not really sure about his left-wing bona fides'?

i think the police said there was one shooter, and 4 people were arrested. But that one of the arrests was unrelated to this specific incident.

In his manifesto he claims to have trained for his glorious day for two years. I still have to finish it but 40’pages in he didn’t get into specifics of how he trained.
