to me that scene was more of a set up for a massive video game with battlefield battles, castle battles, Aerial Dragon Battles, and the battle by the big tree for Bran

Thinking, planning, and tactics took a back seat to spectacles and the sales they will create from their video games and other BS.

Without Red Woman that battle is over early and the good cunts lose...they had no plan to light the trenches and she saved their ass...bless her perfect breasts

I am doing alright, man. Health is getting worse, unfortunately. My autonomic nervous system seems to be failing and doctors aren't sure why but I am seeing a neurologist at UCLA medical center on the 15th so hopefully something comes of it. I am still in good spirits though.

Doing good...just grinding...my health is OK but I got family going thru stuff that stresses me out a bit

I am just a casual fan so I do forget and miss some details...sometimes I am multi-tasking as I watch GOT...I just pay attention for certain characters I like mostly...never read the books

As @b00ts said in the post before this one, the plan was for Drogon to light the trench. But the wind impeded Dany's visibility.

They tried to shoot it with fire arrows but those blew out in the wind. Grey Worm then decided to take a small contingent of Unsullied to protect Melisandre while she did her voodoo fire spell.
