Cody and Dustins match was great story telling. Both guys were in great shape. Showed tons of emotion. Almost got a bit .....Dusty....at the end.

The Bucks match was solid with flashes of greatness.

Omega and Jericho fell flat for me. But the Mox debut saved it. The end of the show felt like 90's wrestling all over again. The look and feel of it. Along with JR on the mic. It was amazing. Great way to set up for All Out later this summer.

I loved the entire thing. Everyone put their all into it. Have not seen much of Lucha Bros, specifically Fenix, was hooked immediately.

Dustin vs Cody was match of the night. Psychology, new moves, great ring work overall. Was near perfection. Cody saying he needed “My older brother.” with the voice crack, ahh, my heart.

Kenny vs Jericho could have been better, to be fair Omega broke his nose early on. Think Cody confirmed the nose break. Jericho is still grand, but without weapons, not entirely sure he can put out the match quality I think he thinks he can. He and Naito had a great match at Wrestle Kingdom, but that also had weapons. Same with his and Kenny’s first match. Saying this as a huge appreciator of Jericho.

Moxley was beautiful icing on the cake. Omega vs Moxley will be golden. Even Jericho vs Hangman going to be grand.

9.2/10 Havoc should have won the Casino Royale.

Only gripe is they mentioned the illegal partner in a tag match has 10 seconds to get out of the ring after a tag, compared to standard 5 count.

None of the tag matches enforced that. Imagine they will on TV or going forward in general.

Bret not showing the belt to the hard camera is passable. Hilarious nonetheless.

I rewatched the Omega and Jericho match. Was alot better than I originally thought.

ShakaSway @ShakaSway did you see any of the post card media scrums? All of them were around 10 minutes and each were really good. Tonys, Dustin, Cody, Jericho and the Bucks.

Cody gave the spoiler to them doing 3 big ppvs a year and maybe a 4th super card. He knows that $50 is alot to ask from the fans. So it won't be monthly. That each week. TV will be a certain level of violence. And the ppv cards will be another level. Then maybe even have a 3rd tier once in a while.

These guys have some good ideas and I can't wait to see more. Cody also was the brains behind Jerichos entrance. Which was epic imo

I thought it was pretty good. They need mauro in the booth tho and the entrance music was shit. But ks vs them Mexicans was the best match. Followed by Cody and gold dust.

Any takeover of the last 3 years smoked that show, that being said, takeover is now the standard imo. I think they should work together, imagine how cool it would have been to see Adam Cole show up unannounced on that show.

I will watch the rest in the morning, saw Cody’s. He came off more professional and well spoken than Id imagine a guy who just had that match.

Happy they aren’t doing a PPV every month. Very refreshing. Refreshing too was him putting over the variety aspect of wrestling.

I've been riding the aew high all week. Then saw that mox tweet and marked out again. Can't wait to see Vince flip his switch and wake up.

You think Moxley Pillman’ed* him? Because before the announcement about his return to the indies, it sounded like he was retiring. The Chronicle about him made that seem like the case. On top of his send off compared to The Revival and Harper’s.

Was announced also he is facing Pentagon Jr in August, and a Talk is Jericho appearance in two days.

Best of Super Juniors has been killing it as well. Bandido vs Ospreay on Day 8 was incredible. Dominion is also next week I believe. Very good time for wrestling.

*Brian Pillman convinced Eric Bischoff back in WCW that it would “really work the boys if you actually released me.” Bischoff did this, thinking it was a wonderful idea. Pillman showed up in ECW shortly after, never going back to WCW.

A bit yes. But I think with everything going on. Added to that. And then you have all of these WWE talent tweeting out support for JR and AEW has to set a fire to Vince. If not. It will Trips and Steph. Which in turn will cause Vince to listen or there will be some major internal conflict blowing up over there.

Imagine a Trips and Steph going against Shane and Vince. NXT vs Main Roster. Every week just as one side gets the edge. Bray and Trash can Larry shows up and causes chaos.

I just saw Dean Ambrose left the WWE and made his AEW debut at Double or Nothing ...this shits getting good - im all aboard this AEW bandwagon for however long this lasts..

Fyter Fest was pretty damn good. Cody had another good match. Mix vs Janely was absolutely nuts.
