I've heard good stuff about Narcos on Netflix, but I just don't feel like getting invested emotionally like I did to Sons of Anarchy.
I just watched the first three episodes of Narcos recently. So far it's very good, I highly recommend it.

RJJH will be in town tomorrow if you wanna grab a brew w/us, before we head to Sharktown.
Unfortunately the timing isnt right. We're heading out early tomorrow morning so we're spending the evening packing and hanging out with the friends we came to visit. Maybe next time I'll mention it sooner and we can work something out, if we don't move here first! :p

So what y'all are saying is stick it out past the first 10 mins of Narcos and I'll be hooked? I tried but literally from minutes 1-5 I was like uhhhhh and the turned it off. I think it was the narration that got to me.

I will revisit this. I was really enjoying it then dropped off to watch other stuff. It was great from what I saw which was up to ep 4 I think. I realized it was becoming background while I talked on here so gave up so I could go and watch it proper

Right now my background is the wire (already completed but I wanna just chill)

I watched a few movies over the last 2 days.

Quick Change (1990)
Decided to watch a Bill Murray movie last night in honor of his birthday. Nothing too memorable, but it's a neat little comedy about a bank robbery.
7/10

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015)
I typically avoid "cutesy" movies like these, but I am a sucker for a movie about young filmmakers. Sometimes the film took itself a little too seriously but then other times when it was quite charming and clever. Cool camerawork as well. Kind of Wes Anderson style.
7.5/10

Blue Velvet (1986)
Some will say this film is absolute garbage and others will tell you it's a masterpiece. I'd go with the latter. I love David Lynch's style. Like watching a dream.
