It seems what happened was the FBI saw that they "claimed the city of Detroit but in reality they lived twenty miles away."
Lazy invesitgative work caused them to assume that because they said they were based out of the gang stronghold of Detroit that they themselves were a members of a gang.
No surprise that our Federal Government did not recognize recognize their GENIUS performance art and failed to do their freaking job properly. AGAIN.
First they became complacent and refused to work with other agencies like the CIA resulting in the tragic event of 9/11 and now they have DEFILED the good name of the Insane Clown Posse. Honestly I'm not sure which mistake was worse.
I'm pretty sure Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are celebrating this LANDMARK courtroom decision with a couple of cases of Faygo soda and pondering the age old question......FUCKING MAGNETS, HOW DO THEY WORK?

That's a pretty good question FeeO but I am afraid I don't have an answer at the moment. Even with the freedom of information act the criminals running the Federal Government of the United States are very slow in releasing these documents.
Luckily for us the poster known as Emily Yoshida claims to have most of them so we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief.
You just have to assume those CRIMINALS have already found a solution to the perplexing magnet question and have moved on to an even bigger brain buster.............one involving MIRRORS. I mean how the fuck do those things work as well?
