I perform vasectomies.
I would have never let @Leafs Watcher suffer like that on my watch.

My feminism in this world is convincing as many husbands to get a vasectomy instead of their wife a tubal if they're making that decision.
Way safer and often an office procedure for the husband.

not sure why I ask...this topic always makes me queasy and anxiety-ish...Lot of doctors in my family and I think they scurred me with stories early in life...I am fine in the moment of emergency..but talking about it is different

either way...that is ballsy stuff to do medical stuff inside somebodies body...props for that

I have been trained and have experience in anything inpatient and outpatient medicine, outpatient peds, obstetrics including c section, family planning to include vasectomy and tubals. I was also trained in endoscopy but don't practice that anymore.
One day I'll hit the lottery and Just travel the world finding ways to franchise my skill set for the developing world. I make a really good living and save the system tons of money. My outcomes are above my peers. However the US system sees this type of multi disciplinary training as an alien that is hard to widgetize in a corporate system.
The day I'm put into the assembly line that is the rest of shift work medicine I'll quit and go do something else. In the meantime, I can sterilize any of you.
