I have been trained and have experience in anything inpatient and outpatient medicine, outpatient peds, obstetrics including c section, family planning to include vasectomy and tubals. I was also trained in endoscopy but don't practice that anymore.
One day I'll hit the lottery and Just travel the world finding ways to franchise my skill set for the developing world. I make a really good living and save the system tons of money. My outcomes are above my peers. However the US system sees this type of multi disciplinary training as an alien that is hard to widgetize in a corporate system.
The day I'm put into the assembly line that is the rest of shift work medicine I'll quit and go do something else. In the meantime, I can sterilize any of you.
