personally I liked some of banchan's posts.. not sure if he/she was a troll and he/she did wind people up..
but if anyone has met someone from S. Korea, they act exactly like banchan....
very inquisitive, always wanting to learn everything they can, very judgemental kinda in a good way...think they are better than everyone else, that sounds bad but if you are their friend you're in and they treat you like a king.
I had a korean guy as a business partner years back exactly like that.
I vote bring back banchan..
kimchee and korean bbq is awesome

I have known many Koreans (TKD for years and years) and have never known one to be like her/him. I dated one with money that had a superior attitude but also subservient to me. Basically a POS to everyone else. The more I got to know her the more I disliked her. The end was she confessed she was married in Korea with a child. She ran off with a wealthy married Japanese guy and was his sidepiece for a while. He gave her a large settlement and she used that to start her business. I find people of means who look down on others usually never earned their money. Someone usually gave it to them or they leeched onto someone with money. My sister is married to a very nice and extremely wealthy guy and she is a POS. My BIL is exactly the opposite of her.
