I get exactly what your saying. I get it whenever i can even if i have some. I got three grams the other day and someone offered me 2 more and i got it. Its always a mission to get ahold of it. We just got a club about 30 miles from my house so im gonna renew my card. $25 grams of shatter all day. I wont need to smoke flower as long as i have a steady supply. Im a Dabaholic for sure.

Dabs are hits of wax or shatter that i place on a a hot titanium nail attached to my dab rig, or bong . The are types of BHO, or "butane honey oil". Its a process to extract the thc. The process usually involves passing butane gas over the plant material and then purging the solvent out. Its very very powerful.

disagree wholeheartedly. its cleaner, cheaper, lasts longer and the high is better.
it doesnt smell, is easier to carry around, and again. CLEANER SMOKE.

I'm still not sold on it being "cleaner". I think, and I have no facts to base it off, but I have a feeling some of these concentrates are fully purged etc and I could be a problem.
well, I hate to say it but you're wrong. its been tested etc. in WSH, COL & BC to the point of knowing exactly what is in your product. there are far more things you shouldnt be smoking in the plant matter than in the extract concentrate.
there are also extracts that dont use any butane to get the substance out of the plant....and to me, they taste the exact same.
purging definition:
a. To clear (a container or space, for example) of something unclean or unwanted: purge a water pipe of air.
b. To remove or eliminate (unwanted physical matter)
so even by definition, its clean.

THE DRYING BOX.
made out of a tim hortons cup box, heavy duty string, a staple gun, velcro, and lots of black duct tape.
air flows in from the side flaps and the top opens 2 different sizes for peaking in, air flow or to add/remove product. the top and sides are fixed with velcro to keep them closed if need be, and its 90% light tight. so its good enough for 1 or 2 3ft tall plants trimmed and hung. drying should take approx 1 - 2 weeks tops. then another 2 weeks of mason jar curing.

Ughhhhh harvest day used to be the BEST. I loved making hash off the pruners. Man, you are drying and curing it correctly. Such a better smoke when cured probably. When I used to cure I did it in stages, hang the whole plant for 2 days, trim off just the fan leaves and hang for 2 days, break it down into branches to hang for a week, then nugs for a day or 2. Then onto mason jar curing.
I would LOVE to do it that way. but I dont have a big enough space for the hanging of the whole plant. so I am basically cutting it in nodes... and hanging it wishbone style over the string...if that makes any sense lol. I will be taking pictures of the whole process. I wont be starting it for another 7 hours or so....whenever my wife gets home from work because she wants to help lol.
I will gladly take suggestions on how to make this better. I was thinking of having a fan blow into one side of the drying box so that it has constant airflow but I have no idea if its detrimental or what. this is my first drying experience that wasnt on a farm in the middle of nowhere haha.
