nah that's fair, I've said as much to Wild before and it's common knowledge I bailed a number of times because there's no shoop scene here like there is on sherdog.
I don't really know what to suggest in regards to generating traffic. Might be worth giving up on the standard subforum design and putting the popular subs at the top even at the expense of all the others. This is what I see when I go to "Forums". That is 100% useless.

It’s good feedback, but be careful what you wish for. I personally prefer quality over quantity. If you look at the front page of most other sites, the majority of the threads are either shit or multiples of the same topic. Most isn’t necessarily better. That goes for the portion of trolls and shit-posters too.

I've seen the other side of this particular coin at the oh-gee and believe me, I'm aware of the double edged sword here. But there's about 12 dudes here using the same half-dozen inside jokes as a shuttlecock between yourselves and it's hard to get the gist of shit quickly. And people are nothing if not Intellectually lazy today, so they leave and don't make this place a habit. They go to the comfy confines of that shithole of a forum and forget to come back.
Y'all are gonna need more than a lurker who takes the occasional potshot like me to make this place look bustlin', is all I'm sayin.

I was there as a lurker for all of like, 3 months. The inanity in that place was astounding, second only to the sheer amount of stupidity. And most of the mods were suffering both pms and Napoleon complexes at the same time, it was a fucking mess back in the early aughts. After I went to Upstanding Fucking Citizens I never went back, never had the slightest inkling. I can't imagine spending years there.
Same with most forums, you get to know people and log in because you're pally. Same here I guess. I take time off for a year or so because I'm in contact with the people I'm close to there via phone or Facebook but the OT can be good fun.
