Dont blame me for your lack of reading comprehension.
Bellamy was a Christian socialist[1] who "championed 'the rights of working people and the equal distribution of economic resources, which he believed was inherent in the teachings of Jesus.'"[8] In 1891, Bellamy was "forced from his Boston pulpit for preaching against the evils of capitalism",[2] and eventually stopped attending church altogether after moving to Florida, reportedly because of the racism he witnessed there.[9] Francis's career as a preacher ended because of his tendency to describe Jesus as a socialist. In the 21st century, Bellamy is considered an early American democratic socialist.
Don't fall for the rebrand.

Just like you posted: "Bellamy is considered an early American democratic socialist" with a link to the quote I posted from the professor and the original source:

Throughout American history, some of the nation's most influential activists and thinkers—including leaders of the major movements for social justice—embraced democratic socialism. Among them were labor leader Eugene V. Debs (who ran for president six times on the Socialist Party ticket, garnering more than 900,000 votes—more than 6 percent of the total—in 1912), philosopher and educator John Dewey, Boston clergyman Francis Bellamy (who wrote the original “Pledge of Allegiance” in 1892)

Where is the rebrand?

Sometimes you can just admit you fucked up.

Notice the part where he referred to himself as one thing and then later people decided "Nah, he's one of us." ?
Again, the original quote:

Yeah, so when someone is co-opted into a movement 100+ years after they die, that doesn't negate what they considered to be their life's work.
Also, here's a comprehesive guide to notable Democratic Socialists:

You're directly stating the statement from professor Dreier is bullshit, take that up with him, not me.
or I'm pointing out that screaming "BUT A PROFESSOR" doesn't validate and opinion when all other information disputes it.

Seriously, have you not noticed how many people are being claimed as "democratic socialists" in the last 3 years?

Ok man, we got the point you're attempting to make. I think.

Improving the prognosis of health care in the USA - ScienceDirect
Taking into account both the costs of coverage expansion and the savings that would be achieved through the Medicare for All Act, we calculate that a single-payer, universal health-care system is likely to lead to a 13% savings in national health-care expenditure, equivalent to more than US$450 billion annually (based on the value of the US$ in 2017). The entire system could be funded with less financial outlay than is incurred by employers and households paying for health-care premiums combined with existing government allocations. This shift to single-payer health care would provide the greatest relief to lower-income households. Furthermore, we estimate that ensuring health-care access for all Americans would save more than 68 000 lives and 1·73 million life-years every year compared with the status quo.

The graph itself is intentionally misleading. My opinion of bailouts not withstanding a one time "Fuck we need to help this group out because of a unique situation" is different than something like social services that are budgeted for year over year. It's also ignoring that in some cases money that goes to agriculture is used for public land or wildlife which is something that directly benefits the public.
I dont even want to get into it with you but its hard to ignore your bait sometimes.

The graph itself is intentionally misleading. My opinion of bailouts not withstanding a one time "Fuck we need to help this group out because of a unique situation"
The graph only highlights 2019 payments.

Farm bailouts have happened multiple years in a row. Far from a one time 'fuck we need to help this group' payment.

Trump is giving farmers a $6 billion bailout so they can weather his trade war
A $12 Billion Program to Help Farmers Stung by Trump’s Trade War Has Aided Few
Trump’s $28 Billion Bet That Rural America Will Stick With Him

different than something like social services that are budgeted for year over year.
Again, all figures were posted for the 2019 year and were mentioned to be annual costs. Annual. Nothing was being hidden.

It's also ignoring that in some cases money that goes to agriculture is used for public land or wildlife which is something that directly benefits the public.
Nope. None of this money went to 'public land or wildlife'. Please feel free to prove me wrong on this one.

There is multiple resources available with a quick Google search to back up all the stats included in the graph and the previous years farm bail- outs.
