Anchor Steam is wank in comparison to what you get at Taplands.

Yeah it definitely does. I get on really well with a girl and a boy bartender there. It doesn't even seem like a job to them they enjoy the beer community etc so much.

The chick behind the bar in the pic is awesome, we go out and watch UFC sometimes. I was avoiding her boyfriend the other day in Safeway because I hadn't straightened my hair and hers is always perfect.
It's just a really really chill cool spot to be a beer snob in. A couple of friends of mine met there through our beer group and they're engaged now.
I really want to go to SLO. I've been doing a few weekends here and there in cheap hotels. Now the weather's picking up I'll venture further.

Slo is good for a day or two. Theres not loads of tramps like santa Barbara. Plus you got pismo and Avila beach close. You should check out paso Robles first tho. Some great restaurants and about 50 wine vinyards. That's where I hung out on a Sunday, the fancy day.
There was some bay town you mentioned too that I'm interested in, I can't remember the name of it. I'm happy just motel hopping night by night.
It's all food/beer/music related normally but I want to go to SLO because I just drove past it on the way here. 3 years ago yesterday in fact.
