some asshole jacked the toilet paper out of my cart while I went to go get something on the other side.

dafuq is wrong with people...
What would you say if you confronted him?

This virus is being spread the same way as the Black Death was according to the article I posted earlier. Along the ancient Silk Route from China through Central Asia into Iran and the Middle East and finally to Europe via Muslim hajis making their pilgrimage to Mecca and by Crusaders mucking about in that area returning to Europe.

So, if that's the case then not much has really changed since then has it.

#coronavirus destroys Chinese economy and kills the Iranian government. I’ll just put this here

Nearly 10% Of Iranian Lawmakers Are Infected With Coronavirus, Iran’s State Media Reports

https://dailycaller.com/2020/03/03/10-pe...ronavirus/

Nearly 10% of Iranian lawmakers have been infected with the coronavirus, Iranian state media reported Tuesday.

Following the death of Mohammad Mirmohammadi, an adviser of Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday, Iran’s political leadership is faced with the spread of the virus among the government. The virus has also killed Iran’s former ambassador to the Vatican and a recently elected member of parliament, USA Today reported.

The virus has infected 23 members of Iran’s parliament according to Iranian state media, including the head of the country’s health ministry, who appeared visibly ill during a news briefing on Feb. 24 and was later confirmed to have been infected. (RELATED: Adviser To Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei Dies From The Coronavirus)

The coronavirus has killed 77 people in Iran and sickened 2,300 others, claiming the most lives outside of China, the epicenter of the outbreak. “These people have a close relationship with the people and they carry different viruses from different parts of the country, which may create a new virus, so we recommend the lawmakers to cut off their relationship with the public for now,” Abdolreza Mesri, an Iranian lawmaker, said according to the New York Post.

Several of Iran’s neighboring countries, including Iraq and Afghanistan, have closed their borders with Iran in an effort to stave off the virus. Bahrain has gone as far as threatening legal prosecution against travelers who enter the country from Iran and haven’t been tested for the coronavirus after Bahrain’s cases of coronavirus were all linked back to Iran, ABC News reported.

So...almost 2 people? Not 2. Almost 2.
Which, by definition, would be one person.

I'd imagine super young kids are susceptible - like 6 months and under. But yeah, kids are fucking tanks. Once they realize their nose is a treasure trove of delicious boogers, their immune system is impenetrable.
Moral of the story:

"TMMAC, eat your boogers"

Boogers and vitamin C, there it is.

I'm upping the vitamin C...got a sore throat a lil bit.

Could easily be allergies because this valley is the grass seed capital of the World.

Plenty of sleep too, that is a good move IMO.

Vitamin C is already flying off the shelf, I really what you've got to do is get to a freakin farm land where that stuff comes out of the ground because your body only retains so much what those stupid ass fillers.

I firmly believe this country already has 100000 cases or more, I'm quite positive my area has far over 10000. This is far far far far far worse than most think.

I sent a letter to my school president Sunday night, he probably wasn't very happy about it because he was being politically correct with all his anti-racist pc crap.
I called him an idiot basically for not shutting down the school, we are going to have a 1000 cases confirmed by 2 weeks which really means 10000 or more.
There just aren't enough test kids, our hospitals are completely overloaded and everybody's being turned away.

Only if you are dying do you get a test these days. That will change in the few weeks but right now it's terrible.

I wouldn't be surprised.

My guess is this broke free in October/November...I have some speculation on that, but I will keep it personal right now and not shit up the thread with anything unsubstantiated. (I could PM my theory)

Kids at that age are resilient for sure, I’ve seen it action with our son. Over time you literally see their immune systems become more robust.

what I want to see is a study of the teachers of young children. They are constantly around booger-licking kids and are exposed to colds, flu, hand foot and mouth, viruses, stomach bugs, etc.

At my sons school the head teacher of 20+ years is around kids from 6 months to 6 years. In the 4 years we have been there, she has NEVER been out on a sick day. The number of sick kids (and their sick family members) she’s been around is staggering. She’s a champion in my book, and has a stud immune system.

not really CV related, but whatever. stay safe and healthy my friends.

Immune systems are a beast.
Interesting post and I agree, probably a ton left to learn.

A downtown Seattle Amazon employee has it.

There is a confirmed case of an employee with COVID-19 who is based out of our Brazil (SEA53 400 9th Ave N. Seattle, WA 98109) building in Seattle. The employee went home feeling unwell on Tuesday, February 25 and has not entered Amazon offices since that time. We received the news today that this employee tested positive for COVID-19. The affected employee remains in quarantine and we are supporting them as they recover.

We notified the employees who we know were in close contact with this employee. Close contact is defined as being closer than 6 feet/2 meters over a prolonged period of time.

The risk of transmission for employees who were not in close contact with this individual is assessed to be low. If you are experiencing symptoms, please stay home and seek medical attention. Your health is our top priority and we are continuing with enhanced deep cleaning and sanitation in the office. Please visit Inside Amazon for more information on COVID-19, which includes work-from-home guidance that was updated earlier today.
