Welli beat her ass into a Star Trek character..... JJ seriously needs to take a long time off to really heal from that battle, she shouldn't fight until the end of the year. That much swelling in the head is not good, I know it was a great fight, but we really have to look out for the fighters health, and when you get beaten to the point of looking like Sloth from the Goonies, take some time away (personally, with her being 2-4 in her last 6, and taking more damage in every fight, I think that JJ should call it a career, she's no more than a gatekeeper now).

I was hoping she was going to be at the post fight conference so I could see it again. Hospital was the right move though.
how long does it take for hematoma like that to go away? Do they drain them? Any serious concerns with a big ass hematoma like that on the head?

she'll look a LOT better in a week. Even a few days will be a lot of benefit.
Ice it and wrapped with an ACE bandage for compression.
Don't drain if possible.
Yeah they can get infected, which is unlikely on the head with such amount of blood supply, but more they just represent a lot of trauma so I'd be real good at my neuro test and rest afterwards for CTE concerns.

You just don't like seeing people with girly hair get beat up, I get that, I thought it was a great fight. I feel bad for Joanna tho, as the other girly hair mentioned I think she should think about knocking it on the head. She's a top level fighter but keeps losing wars.

I think Joanna should work with bisping. He's a volume striker and can give her advice on how to stick and move and not get into wars like that. Mike obviously ate some big punches in his high profile fights but that's because he ran his mouth in the build.
Over the course of his career he wrote the book on picking people apart and using cardio. Joanna should do the same imo.
