Lol fake title getting to Cormiers head
It should.

He can tell himself whatever he wants to legitimize it. The bottom line is:

If he beats Jones, nothing the doubters have said will matter.

If Jones beats him, he will always question his belts legitimacy.

That will be a very important fight.

+1 more PPV point and he does it. At this point it should be up to DC where the fight takes place. This could be the beggining of a bargaining campain. Smart move it is.

I wonder if New York would boo their own guy.

That would be something. Might work to Cormier's advantage then if they got inside Jones' head like that.

Jones will mangle him purely because he can and will.....it's a given.....if you think otherwise you are and always will be wrong

cocaine has been the down fall of many athletes and successful people in general.jones needs to seriously get his shit together because he is at a fork in the road where he could either be the greatest comeback story or go down a slippery slope. he has all the talent and ability but is his own worst enemy.

I don't think so. if he somehow comes back worse than before then it will be cemented that "Pre Hit'n'Run" Jones is the goat. if he comes back in form and keep his shit private he can just pick up where he left off and it will be no biggie in the grand scheme. he has all the leverage and can get away with things that other people can't.

it's when Jones "matures" and loses his ferocity that he will start losing. when he starts feeling empathy for his opponents. but coke binge Jones with Kenard mentality is too much.

he has the ability to make the right decision right now and come back better than he left off.he also can make the wrong choice and continue to fuck up.probation is no joke.the new drug testing is no joke.probation violations send you to jail.

If there was an event at MSG, no NY fans would be able to afford it anyway because the tickets would outprice normal humans. It would be stacked with Wall Street dorks, Long Island wastrels and a few stray 6 figure thousandaires from Jersey and Connecticut at the back of the house. Everyone else would be out of towners.

Maybe more of Jones' family would be there, but between comps, his own wealth and 2 NFL big brothers, it's not like they can't afford to get the whole family down to 3rd cousins into floor level seats.

NY show won't happen anyway. This alternate sanctioning loophole is basically a provocation that will flop and Carl Heastie has bigger fish to fry in the legislature at present. The MMA legalization effort is being marred by the fact that the UFC is out in front of it right now. They need to fall back for a bit if they want this thing to happen.

I like DC but I don't like his assumption that I as a fan am wrathful towards Jones. Why? Jon Jones has to look us in the eye and answer for his actions? This embarrasses me with its sanctimony. I don't like this noble daddy bit.

I would name my first bastard male child Dana if the UFC gave Jones his belt back without a fight with DC and booked Gus vs Jones II for the title.

I'd expect you all to change your profile pics to Mr Dana White in awe and reverence of the power of Fuck You Goof.

His daughter was whoring it up on Love and Hip Hop New York tho. She only sucked the peter not the pipe so I guess that's something
