Never knew, thanks. Still learning English after all these years.
Me too allegedly.

Checked my email. My favourite weed place sent this yesterday. Doubt they knew what was coming, and that it would change overnight.
Hi Louise,

As COVID-19 continues to impact our community, we want to share an update on the status of our cannabis services. In light of the recent “shelter-in-place” announcement by Governor Newsom, and per California state allowances for essential businesses to remain operational, at this time Caliva retail stores and delivery services will remain open for business.

To support our customers who rely on cannabis products for their health and everyday well-being, we are offering services as follows:

For Delivery

  • Our delivery service will continue to remain open, and our drivers are required to use hand sanitizer after every customer interaction.
  • Drivers are also provided with disposable gloves to use during transactions.
  • We have seen an influx in delivery orders and recommend ordering earlier in the day to ensure same-day delivery. Please be patient with us as we strive to fulfill every order in a timely fashion.

New Curbside Pickup

  • We are now offering Curbside Pickup at the Caliva San Jose store. We will extend this service to our Deli Bellflower store in the following days.
  • To order for Curbside Pickup simply visit caliva.com, select “Pickup” in San Jose, and include in the Special Instructions at checkout that you would like Curbside Pickup. We will text you further instructions once your order is ready.

In Our Retail Dispensaries

  • At this time, our retail stores remain open.
  • In order to honor the need for social distancing and limit our patrons/employees’ closeness of contact, we have enacted capacity limitations of no more than 10 people in the retail lobby and on the sales floor at one time.
  • We also ask for your participation in maintaining at least a six-foot distance between yourself and others while in line.

The safety of our employees and customers remains our top priority. We ask for your support in not visiting our dispensary if you have shown any signs of symptoms including fever, coughing, or shortness of breath.

Your health and safety are of paramount importance to us as we monitor and track developments regarding COVID-19. We are listening carefully to your questions and concerns and also abiding by the guidance and regulations of government and cannabis entities. We will continue to adjust our protocols and provide you with any updates to our business operations as things change.

We are proud of our team for their positive attitudes and contributions to implement our enhanced safety protocols and business practices. Thank you for your patience as we navigate these challenging times.

As always, we are here to answer any questions you may have via online chat, email, and phone.

Wishing you health, healing and happiness,

Dennis O'Malley

Do you like the term "alluding" better?
Why mention it at all?
because UK had been operating under assumption rates were more than twice as low as actual rates.. not that everyone needs intensive care.. it's written right there... can you read?

Seems like the proper steps to take. Closing however, would go too far. There needs to be a balance.

God forbid someone thinks rationally instead of listening to every foaming-at-the-mouth panic-stricken media member out there.
Why are people that consider themselves rationalists during these times, pretend that the media never sensationalizes? They do this with literally everything (shootings, etc.). That doesn't mean that there's no reason for concern. Panic is understandable when you see on one hand how the government has been handling this, and how oblivious some people are about this particular virus. There's a good place in the middle somewhere.
