Well let’s get the facts right.

And apologies for this being 4 or 5 days old.

but the average age of people who have died in Italy is 81.

that number doesn’t float for any other country in the world.

I have a theory how I would spend this massive three trillion the world government’s want to spend.

it isn’t this way
Lets do get them straight.

Doesn't float for any other country in the world? Your own link, by your own focus, shows japan has more percent 65 up. They have a bigger population than Italy. They have more Raw number than Italy.
In what damned way does this not float for any other country?

I made you this.

Because Japan has almost double the population than Italy.

Yet pound for pound. Italy has more old people than Japan. Plus Japan has the oldest dying age of any country in the world . Japanese live longer than anyone!

How can you not see this?

Back to the virus and our impending American deaths and what percent death rate one could estimate.

Keeping up with the 65+ theme, which is the most dangerous and probably easiest to find state (but note, 50+ is where you seeing any increase start really happening with this virus, with older populations accelerating that. 50-65 you aren't out of the woods!)

And by all means, it was not frustration towards you in anyway. It's those graphs people on Facebook show to tell the world we're fine.
Ah I see
My father who is a doctor shared it with me so I threw it in this thread

I still told him to limit contact and stay up in his hideout for a few months

put anyone in danger in a hotel.

feed them for 12 weeks.

but no.

it will go towards making the corporation’s that have failed exist.

yay socialism
Whats with the moving people out of their homes into a hotel?

That's the same thing I told my father. He isn't a doctor though. He's a felon on the run from the law.

I had to drive into the city today. As I crossed the bridge, I rolled my windows up and thought, "We're entering the infected zone." It was like being a part of the movie 28 Days Later. Fun!

Just tired of hearing comparisons with the flu. Covid-19 as of now is said to be 34 times more deadly as the flu according to some numbers. We don't even have enough data to really solidify that.

Splinty @Splinty , since I never got back to you, don't know if you already saw or posted this.
WHO is criminal....

I did not, but calm down young padiwan. Don't get your news from the NYPOST for their over sensationalizing. This remains a respiratory droplet transmission disease and every other coronavirus in the past has been the same. So history and current data suggest it so far.

This is specifically about doing procedures that create aerosolized particles which has been the guidance since day one. Intubation is the main one but I'm sure specialists come up with lots more. Just as I said before, there are situations like airplanes and cruise ships recirculating aerosolized drops that could act differently. That doesn't make this an airborne disease by medical definition.

I am watching the data about transmission including this and including the over hyped (by news confirming the unconfirmed) data investigating fecal-oral spread.

went ahead and bought a generator.

just for the helluvit.

it'll run a couple fridge and my mobile swamp cooler, and it's an inverter generator so it runs super quiet.

that's important if there's ever an actual extended power outage...generators get stolen quick.

That was confirmed via Chinese media 2 months ago.

BTW, lets put this out there sparkuri @sparkuri... Flu can last in the air for hours. Flu can live on surfaces for days.
This is a quality of many respiratory droplet viruses. It is how we spread this stuff. It does not change this into an airborne disease.
The news is just releasing these studies, which SHOULD be done, as piecemeal headlines that sound like it's a mutant.

I don't mean this to minimize these things. Shit is contagious and people are nasty. But just don't go thinking this coronavirus has some new properties that make it something it isn't.

there are some good gigs out there...I know a couple and they chill for half the year waiting for the rich client to wanna go somewhere.

you will find something bro...this will not last forever
I hope not. Before I was a pilot, I was a truck driver. I still have my CDL so that’s my emergency back-up plan. I actually enjoyed that job more, but it doesn’t pay nearly as well, but I guess not nearly as well is better than not at all.
