Again these stupid comparisons, they do not take into account medical advancements, at all. It's easy to look at that without context and say: I think we're good then, let's have a few drinks!
I am not "saying" anything

I merely posted a visual image and a link

Officials from Guangdong, China, are reportedly offering cold hard cash to anyone who would off wandering dogs, the Daily Mail reported.

In a document, A kind reminder, officials will “reward people who capture and kill stray dogs.”

For each dog killed, officials “will give 200 yuan” which is about $39, the memo stated.
Why waste bullets?

just wade in with a trusty shovel

that’s decent scratch

Italy has the oldest population in the world. South Korea has the youngest.
what are you talking about? I literally just looked it up after you posted and no Italy is not the oldest and no South Korea is not the youngest.

I have posted this before.

Italy has the oldest population in the world. South Korea has the youngest.

I’m sure the data will be completely different.

for some reason.

The paper is looking at cruise ship outcomes as another data point to figure out what mortality will be with broad testing.

also for the sake of argument here's the actual population distributions between the two countries:

Yes older. Everybody knows this. Italy also doesn't test except for their symptomatic cases. The question becomes figuring out where we have case fatality rates vs actual infection rates. This is an important other data point to that figuring out.

Infection rates in Italy will go down soon. Disney+ launches in western Europe next week. They'll all get that D+ & chill.

Italy is second to Japan.

but when you look at population size it is. And life expectancy is longer in Japan. By dent of longevity. Not amount per populous. There are more old people in Italy than Japan per capita.

Which Country Has the Oldest Population? It Depends on How You Define ‘Old.’ – Population Reference Bureau

South Korea is the youngest by size. You can’t compare S Korea to Niger and NSudan.

That's a lot of caveats for your superlative usage.

So now you're using absolute numbers in a talk about percentage of population death? I don't care if there are 1 million or 10 million if the share of old people is the same...the fatality percent as well. We aren't talking raw death numbers which is what adjusts my pop size.

Even using your metric, lots of other countries have 65+ population percents less than S Korea. And plenty are big countries like Argentina with 44 million people. The raw number of older people isn't the main driver of death percents. It's the percentage of older people.
Population ages 65 and above (% of total population) | Data

Thailand has a population of 69 million. They have fewer 65+ percent than S Korea. They have a bigger population. They have a lower median age. They are a younger bigger country than S Korea.
Are we done yet FINGERS @Conor McGregor nut holder ?

Well let’s get the facts right.

And apologies for this being 4 or 5 days old.

but the average age of people who have died in Italy is 81.

that number doesn’t float for any other country in the world.

I have a theory how I would spend this massive three trillion the world government’s want to spend.

it isn’t this way

The average age of death in italy is 81 because they are not treating over 80s due toba lack of ventilators.
