Scary shit.

3rd most active reported cases - behind Italy and Germany.

It would be interesting to see the testing levels of each of those countries.

Let's just assume that The numbers are accurate.
Now double the case count every three days. Look how fast we catch The others currently having a hard time.

Yeah, because I definitely want to checkout on a machine that countless other gross people have touched.
I've seriously already planned my first PIN transaction with a pen I can afford to lose straight after I've keyed it in so I don't have to touch it :D

that isn't the main concern. We have 350 million people.
China has 50 million exposed in their quarantine area. Wuhan plus a circle of about that many.
China will have to figure out how to go from full draconian to their baseline without infecting the other 1 billion+ (3 USAs) people too fast for their health system. They don't have a plan.

Louisiana alone has about the same number of people as the lock down area around Wuhan.
We will have the most cases in the west by our size. The question is percentages and per capita math.

Our trajectory doesn't look good.
I'm not too comfortable with the canada US border. Sure they say its closed but that's never really stopped anyone enthusiastic about crossing before.
PNW has a lot of cases, which borders BC which has a lot of cases, which borders Alberta which has one of the only airports in canada open to international travel.

As a plus wife just found out that a recent case was an employee that worked at A&W just tested positive within the last week. We eat fast food maybe twice a year and as luck would have it that was the location we dined at a week prior.

Louisiana is having a hard go of it early on. I'm sorry your dads in that position.
Not in the SLIGHTEST having ago about religion because these are such trying times but I saw no an Archbishop from Louisiana on the news this morning being interviewed saying there were still congregations of 50 people in church at a time.
Mental, right? I know we all want to comfort one another but that just seems mental that it hasn't been stopped.

Apparently, during this crisis , they will be denying everyone caught attempting to cross. No safe haven claims. No third country shit.
