Mass testing. Is the only way to get the economy back. Mass testing so that social distancing and washing hands actually have an effect.

Italy is scaling back testing, simply because they are overwhelmed.
I see your argument, but imo, we are testing at a higher rate, and will probably pass Italy by a few thousand or so, but will be interesting to monitor.
I see a +12-15,000 U.S. case count tomorrow, with Italy probably upping around 4000 or so.

Realistically we should kill more people. Start by taking the warning labels off chemicals and let retards drink bleach or microwave car batteries. Let them try to fly and put it all on the internet

It's been my opinion for awhile we're allowing this to run its course to get the deaths up with the aim of getting Europe and public opinion in favor of the west when it comes down to war, which is what the lackadaisical response indicates.
That's what history tells us in hindsight.
I expect some action in and around Taiwan to be the pin prick, or something in the S.China sea.
Sabers are quietly rattling; Japan and the U.S. are both testing scramjet weapons that Russia and China already have.

But yeah, real-time watching these talking heads in the capital is enraging.

Well that's trump's goal. But another option is to stop the corporate welfare, put more money directly into the hands of citizens (without the democrats idiotic means testing that they love) and then he will probably win 2020 easily

But if he goes the route hes sa saying he will, then hes potentially throwing aay the election to half dead biden or cuomo. (And more importantly, causing the needless deaths of many Americans)

Just my opinion tho

Next few weeks will be telling one way or the other

I don't really care about who what when where how

but a multiple month shutdown is gonna do a ton of harm

many people are gonna run out of money and will become desperate

Unless food and lodging is free, the country will not function on shutdown with 1200 dollars to tide them over...just won't work sadly

the population density and overall unpreparedness of this populace is quite a potential ticking time bomb if you think about it



Such a shame this is even thought about in Political terms or repercussions IMO
