RaginCajun @RaginCajun I know we're all this to rib each other and banter about but aside from what we got up to, Robbie and I are actually really good the best of friends. I love him in a way that can't really be explained. I know he will always be in my life, just not how I thought 3 years ago.

they’d get hired anywhere else in this situation. All hospitals have a lack of equipment and it’s common knowledge so the fact that someone can get fired for saying it’s is dumb.. letting the public know how it is in Hospitals is a good thing - it will make some people take this seriously cause they don’t want to be one of those people in the hospital who is getting told to go home and die due to no space/equipment.


Even if you’re young you don’t want to risk catching this.. it can permanently fuck up your lungs, heart and even cause death obviously... to you and whoever you come in contact with

That's not me right now. I'm in the early phases of this like many others. I simply am identifying a problem on my end. But it's nothing new and lots of others are already identifying it on their end.


How do you get on the news and not being a jerk?
Have enough knowledge and experience on the subject to speak with authority.
Have a broad enough experience on the current subject such that you understand context and other stakeholders so you're not just espousing a platform that is all about you.
Have a solution oriented goal as your call to action so you're not just whining.

I know physician colleagues that are already getting this message out with an experience much more broad than I am who have already started the groundwork of understanding all the stakeholders. They're a better voice than I am on this subject. I can put you in touch with them if you wanted. But I am at the low level clinician level and not the system level to speak with an authority in such a forum.

What would be really good is someone who is on the frontline in an area that is in a current hot spot I guess.

Someone that can impart knowledge not only for those in the immediate vicinity but give an understanding to the rest of the world.

They don't need to be the top dog. Just someone telling it as it is.

For instance a New York nurse now is news. A Seattle surgeon isn't .

I'm back in in Friday.

If you have any thoughts please let me know. It's just an idea. Not saying anything will come of it but I know we want immediacy. Just the facts on the ground is what the world wants basically.

Solid Rock Church continues public worship services during coronavirus outbreak

These fucks went so far as to invite motorists speeding by on I-75 to stop on in for a quick dose of God.

Residents of the area want it shut down. The cult church says they'll stay open until forced not to, leaning on their 1st amendment rights.

They offer live streaming, but let's be real here - You can't fill a collection basket on a live stream. That's all this place cares about.


For the record - most churches around here have closed.

They were doing drive through confessions in Pleasanton here last Sunday.
