3 new cases today in NZ.
Population 5 million approx.

We had 300+ cases today and 5 deaths in a province with 1/5th your population.

Is there any talk that even though NZ response has been great, the second wave will impact you harder because lack of hard immunity?

That’s always on the cards.

Speaking with some Pharma/Medical people in Australia today and they’re expecting a second wave in October.

NZ May be winning a battle, but the war is far from over. Herd immunity takes bloody ages to develop, especially with no vaccine.

There’s an interesting program on each night (fronted by Paul Henry, ask your wife) about rebuilding paradise. Imagine being able to promote NZ as a Covid free country/sanctuary. That’s a hell of a spin for tourism and manufacturing.

I seriously need a time out every now and again I'm so impatient. He's dealing with this far better than I am, even though he got laid off and feels like he's let me down (I'm shelving that guilt, he's bloody wonderful, and none of it was his fault) but he's generally in good spirits.
Know I mentioned to you a couple of weeks ago but Artaega is wonderful compared to Safeway. I feel so much safer there, the shelves are stacked and it isn't busy.
You, mrs Vagabond, husband, new little treasure and I are going out for a bite to eat as soon as we feel comfortable enough to socially do our thing. Been minutes away from you for 3 years now, we should have all had an Opa or Jake's.
