He's saying wait for all the evidence before making up your mind. Beyond that he went over the current known facts and Georgia law. Regarding the gun being present, both the shooter and the jogger had legal right to their actions. If have read 18 pages of this thread, the 15 minutes of video is definitely worth watching when you have the time.
It's a sad and shitty story, but more details are certain to come out during the trial.

There is no way they are going to be convicted of murder under Georgia law. For that to happen, it would have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt the act of killing was intentional. How are they going to do that when the video never shows either of them point a gun at the guy until there is a struggle over the gun. They also did not shoot him once that struggle ended. There is no intent.
They would have had a better shot at manslaughter, but even that wouldn't be a slam dunk.

Basically what I've been saying all along. I cant take credit because it's the original DA that laid it all out. A few snowflakes tried to discredit the evidence and witness testimony with nonsense and without researching state law. None of that proves intent to kill.
Their story is that they were attempting a citizens arrest. Most people don't seem to be questioning that. Attempting to arrest someone and intending to kill them are two very different things, and people are innocent until proven guilty. It is the burden of the district to prove intent. I do not see how they can do that.
Sure, they might make up a what-if story, but that isn't proof.
