Trump is talking about mortality rates, the interviewer is talking about deaths and then saying that mortality rates don't matter. They're literally talking about different things. At the end of the clip Trump says deaths in Florida are down which the interviewer takes issue with. On Saturday Florida reported 179 deaths and on Monday 73. Listen to what's there, not what you want to be there.
Interesting how you put it, kinda like exactly the other way around.
The reporter takes issue with Trump's numbers you say.. Yet you don't mention that Trump takes issue with the reporters numbers. Which is what we commented on. So what is your problem here? We heard what was being said.

In any case an interview is not supposed to be a pr show where only the nice charts big trumpet brought are important. They both talk about numbers related to Covid, hence your apples and oranges thingy is a stretch at best too. But you putting your foot down on this is kinda weird and I don't know what you want to achieve here.

I'd also say total deaths per population seems like the more significant stat over deaths per known cases, which the reporter seemed to think as well. If you don't agree with that, why not?

I'm very hopeful of what that budding relationship might mean for the American outdoor community.
We are already seeing the funding put to use. There is a park that has been closed down for 5 years due to a flood, and a stream that feeds into the park that has been blocked with downed trees for 2 or 3 years. Drove by there this weekend and they had a crane cleaning up the creek and it looked like work was finally being done on the park.

I haven't put any value judgment on Trump, the interviewer or their respective stats. I simply related what happened in the interview segment that was posted. You're implying a bunch of biases on to me because it's what you want to see.

We/I commented on specific things that happened in the video, then you came around implying we didn't listen well enough. But we did and it's all there.

But before we run in circles:
1) Trump brought specific stats that are supposed to prove the US is doing well regarding to Covid-deaths. Agreed?

2) Interviewer introduced stats supposing to show that the US is not doing well regarding to Covid-deaths. Agreed?

3) Trump told the interviewer repeatedly that he cannot do that and has to take his stats instead, getting agitated. Agreed?

4) Trump went on to doubt the stats of the interviewer regarding South Korea. Agreed?

So, where did we not listen well enough?

5) This segment is funny and Trump can be ridiculed because of it. - Here it seems you don't agree, which is fair. But don't tell us we didn't actually listen to what happened.

1) Trump brought specific stats that are supposed to prove the US is doing well regarding to Covid-deaths. Agreed?
Yes. He brought mortality rate stats.

2) Interviewer introduced stats supposing to show that the US is not doing well regarding to Covid-deaths. Agreed?
Yes. He brought deaths as a percentage of the population stats.

3) Trump told the interviewer repeatedly that he cannot do that and has to take his stats instead, getting agitated. Agreed?
Yes. Trump was trying to get the interviewer on the same page as him as he had clearly prepared for a line of questioning other than what the interviewer wanted. The interviewer has no obligation to play into what and interviewee wants, but that kind of sand bagging is generally regarded as very poor form. He likely said "You can't do that" because there is almost always an agreement before an interview on what the subject matter is, and Trump was probably upset/flustered that the interviewer called an audible on him

4) Trump went on to doubt the stats of the interviewer regarding South Korea. Agreed?
Sort of. Trump was still talking about his mortality rate stats rather than the interviewers death as a portion of the population. I don't know how SK's mortality rate compares with the U.S. It's very possible the U.S. does have a lower mortality rate.

Read the above answers and you'll see why you were listening for what you wanted to hear, rather than just what was there.

You know we are not that far apart but it still doesn't change a thing. A politician has to be prepared to face inconvenient questions. Also it wasn't like the guy was outright hostile or he just threw trash around.

And it actually seems it is you who is on the lookout for what you want to be there.
Your post has words like "likely" and "probably" in it. Not mine.
