Mutation rate for changing targeted molecule is on the order of a decade or two. Yeah something could happen but the areas mutating aren't the areas being targeted for vaccine.

If we gain immunity via infection, this coronavirus may fall into the background noise and 50 years from now everyone growing up exposed to just one more coronavirus will have no real understanding why this was ever a big deal to us.

Headlines always take someones single sentence and make it an absolute. SarsCov2 probably wont be eradicated. That's about the only thing everyone agrees on right now.

Papers floating that there's pre-immunity between 40-50%.
Meaning it ain't so novel.

Majority of Old People I know don't give a fuck and are a bit frustrated with it all.
The minority I know are MSM addicts and are scared and stressed.

Live your life and react to what is happening locally and be happy seems to be a common theme.
