My mileage is somewhere around 23. I know Tacos don't get the "good mileage" some people think they should, but this is the first claim I've heard of them being objectively worse than a full size.
My buddies with f150 ecoboost motors all get better milage. It's silly

But don't get me wrong. My truck has never left me stranded, and is always reliable. I have a ton of milage in it, I'm at like 36k.

That's interesting any of my buddies with ecoboosts complain that they get worse mileage than their friends V8's. Personally I've long been of the opinion that anyone who owns a truck and complains about mileage should be banned from owning one and legally obliged to drive the Smart Car that they deserve.

I will add that if you have heavy shoes and run the turbos hard, gas mileage does go way down on the eco. Just depends on how aggressively one drives. I try not to drive like an asshole, so I end up in the better mileage end of the spectrum (especially now that I have my son in the car often). I know some don’t care for them, but I like the way the eco drives compared to the V8. I was on the fence when shopping, but it’s been good to me and I’m happy with it.

and I agree with what you’re said about having a truck and complaining about mileage. I’ve only ever had trucks, so when I had the Taco it was normal. Mileage isn’t the reason I bought the eco, but it sure has been welcome to spend a little less at the pump on top of having more room/comfort and way more power.

You make a good point here. I find that a lot of people who need an entry full size often try to get away with a Taco thinking they'll get better mileage. Then they run it hard, tow with it regularly and are then surprised to see that the engine they're wringing out ends up being thirsty.

Ontario is probably the most beautiful place on the planet.

Sorry. My buddy lives in Fergus and we’re going to visit him. I was thinking Fergus.
You ever eat at “Fisherman’s Landing”?
I haven’t actually been into fergus in years, I don’t think I’ve ever even seen the place. One time I got really drunk in the micro brewery pub and threw up their gross beer down the side of the gorge into the river doe

No way.
Even a third world country like Detroit would not be envious of our maple obsessed Northern neighbors.
Last time I crossed the border, the customs agent popped the trunk and their were 6 New York milfs crammed in there. They must have snuck in there while I was shopping at Target. Apparently they were in search of a better life.
