Back in the day when I was younger and sillier me and a friend used to go round the BBC newsroom and give the presenters and other important people a post it note saying Liz called can you call her back.

The number was for Buckingham Palace.

It was funny watching these important people demanding to speak to Liz.

Sadly, due to hoax calls they made the Buckingham Palace switchboard automatic after that.


We switched it up to 10 downing Street after that. But it wasn't the same as watching Huw Edwards demanding to. Speak to Liz.
