Learned about a new type of fuckery today: reverse stock splits. Its a minute amount but I now owe money on a stock and I lost them. WTF? On hold with etrade now. Spent under $10 total but crazy that this is possible. Fuck you Biden... to soon?

Not sure how you can owe money on a reverse split. You can definitely lose a ton of money - but owing is usually for the people who short a stock.

Still on hold but I found this. I made more of CHEF today so not all is bad.

What does a reorganization fee that a company charges get applied to?

Recently, one of my holdings underwent a reverse split. I was surprised (but not all that surprised) that there was an additional fee of $20.00 assessed, labeled as a "reorganization fee". This was

Long story made short: etrade is refunding the fees. I own a fraction of a share. I can sell the “share” but I have to wait for the money to get refunded.

My Lowe's is getting smoked. Missed on earnings estimates by a penny. Beat on revenue by over a billion.

Same store sales surged 30%

So why the earnings miss? Higher wages/incentives during Covid crisis and investing in e-commerce.
