It is not a Latin language. English has a vocabulary that is comprised of around 55-60% Latin words (30% French-based and 25-30% Latin-based, but again, this is ONLY vocabulary). It still isn't a Latin language. Like German, it is a Germanic one.

German is also not a Semitic language, no matter how far you go back. It is, like most of Europe's languages, an Indo-European language.

For German to be a Semitic language, it would have to possess many features -- phonological, morphological, lexical, etc. -- that it does not.

People who spend their lives studying linguistics have done enough research to support everything I've written above. You, of course, will continue to argue it because you're an idiot who is so unteachable that you didn't finish high school.

There aren't enough words to tell you how wrong or ignorant you are.

I tried to educate you when I mentioned Persian's use of an Arabic script despite Persian not being a Semitic language, but you are too dumb to take subtle cues. You should've dropped the alphabet nonsense, as writing systems have nothing to do with the genetic origins of language.

Here is a list of non Slavic languages that use a Cyrillic alphabet:

• Non-Slavic languages: Abkhaz, Aleut (now mostly in church texts), Azerbaijani (Dagestan only), Bashkir, Chuvash, Erzya, Uzbek (officially replaced by Latin script, but still in wide use), Kazakh (to be replaced by Latin script by 2025), Kildin Sami, Komi, Kyrgyz, Dungan, Mari, Moksha, Mongolian (to also be written with traditional Mongolian script by 2025), Ossetic, Romani (some dialects), Sakha/Yakut, Tajik, Tatar, Tlingit (now only in church texts), Tuvan, Udmurt, Yuit (Siberian Yupik), and Yupik (in Alaska).

Here are just a few non Arabic languages that use the Arabic script:

• Persian(Farsi/Dari), Uyghur, Kurdish, Punjabi, Sindhi, Balochi, Pashto, Lurish, Urdu, Kashmiri
• Until the 16th century, even Spanish used an Arabic script (study history if you want to learn why, lol just kidding I know you won't study shit).

The list of non Latin languages that use a Latin alphabet is too long, but it is the most commonly used alphabet in the world. The reasons German (and English) adopted it, despite NOT being Latin languages, were political, religious, and based on the fact that we were illiterate pagans who had no widespread writing system.
