Several possible reasons.

Being part of a group, and something bigger.
Feeling disenfranchised and getting the feeling of some sort of control back. Especially if you can help creating the storyline and not just consume it.
Channeling frustrations into something you deem productive.
Believing in something fiercly and standing for it gives you purpose you may lack otherwise.
Maybe being bored or simply wanting to shock, so basically for fun.
Or getting the feeling of being smarter than non-believers.
And the stories are flexible enough to have something to reach a lot of people and maybe hook em with that. An effective strategy of recruitment.
And you know the saying, the bigger the lie, the easier people will believe it?

Also, the world is a very complex environment, politics and economy are very complex, society is very complex.
Many of those myths give simple answers to complex processes.

That's what I got from the top of my head, I'm sure there is more.

It's politics, it's normal.
Then dip your toes into the abyss.

I won't pull.

Weird Congress could condemn antifa, and their "domestic terrorism" but the media won't.

It's sad for me to see so many people supporting the Mainstream Media take on all of this, but not suprising.

I have moved on from Trump now. It was great when he was the President and he was fighting the Communists and protecting the Free World, but now that he has been overthrown then I have gone back to more important issues, the issues that were always there before Trump upset the Apple cart by defeating the witch Hillary Clinton.

Dunno why you bring the media into it. I don't care about us media and dunno why you would. Either "sides" of those seem quite biased. Right media condemns antifa but not Q, left media does it the other way around, no?
Sucks either way.

There are many examples, but would you call a President that punishes us for "not buying enough American cars, while the Americans buy to many German cars", someone that fights for freedom?
We choose not to buy a lot of American cars, cause we have the freedom to do so. He doesn't want us to have that freedom.

Not a fighter for a free world, that one.

Are you saying the media and the government should do the same things?

Lots of right leaning media is condemning Q.

Then you've got things like this;

Where, allegedly, the antifa violence was a myth.

Seems strange there's a political side, that not just left leaning media support in excess.

As for why I care, NZ govt spent 50 million on propping up the media in nz during 2020. For reprinted propaganda from spook news sources.

I hope it doesn't start happening to you.

Is Yahoo right leaning? Or is it the repub and his claims you have a problem with?
In either case, not toeing the line you are supposed to is a positive thing in such instances, no?

BTW, how is the plan coming along? Isn't it high time something happens? Didn't Rudy G promise us action?
To be clear I'm not straying from trusting, I'm just getting a little nervous.
