An order to buy limit $5.09 is you saying you wish to place an order for the stock and you don't want to pay any higher than $5.09 - it will trigger the lowest price available. So your limit order $5.09 might fill at $5.05 if the market dips by the time it executes.when I’m buying, what does it mean “@ limit $5.09” and expiration “day”?
My order went through (I’m assuming) since it’s now on my positions page instead of my orders page. It says my cost per share is $5.07, so I’m guessing that’s what I bought in at.An order to buy limit $5.09 is you saying you wish to place an order for the stock and you don't want to pay any higher than $5.09 - it will trigger the lowest price available. During volatility, an open market order is risky because the market could jump before the sale executes. So if you trigger a market order when it's at $5.09 but the market moves to $6 when it executes, you just bought it for $6.
Exactly. My order went through (I’m assuming) since it’s now on my positions page instead of my orders page. It says my cost per share is $5.07, so I’m guessing that’s what I bought in at.

So, when I get to ~$55, sell 2 or 3 shares and reinvest.@gangsterkathryn to steel some advice from @Hauler. Once you double your money on NOK, sell half and go invest your initial investment somewhere else. The NOK is free money after that. This will help you diversify your portfolio while protecting you to a degree,
You could also do what my father does and sell whjen he makes 5%, and just do that over and over again,
say you spent $50 on your initial NOK purchase. Once the total value of the stock you hold reaches $100 sell enough to cover your initial investment, keep the rest and reinvest that initial investment somewhere else. I might be doing a shitty job explaining.I placed an order for one AMC share. Just to see.

I spent $25.35, that’s where I got the ~$50 from.say you spent $50 on your initial NOK purchase. I'm just parroting those 2 gentlemen.
It's really volatile right now, and risky, but it could go to the moon!I tried to get in AMC when it was in the $14.50 range and I didn’t get it fast enough. Keeps jumping all over.
I’m watching Office Depot. Just out of curiosity. Since I’m attached. I should watch Staples since I may be a Staples employee soon.
Hence why I am only playing with a little money. It's really volatile right now, and risky, but it could go to the moon!
