We are losing a huge and I mean huge amount of freedom in the UK today.

The government promised the covid restrictions would just be for the dutation of the lockdowns. They said they had to bring in the extra restrictions thanks to the BLM and climate protests. Of course current laws allowed to police to take action but they wanted more and they wanted covid as cover for this.

It would have worked to except last Saturday there was a planned vigil for a girl who had been abducted and killed by a serving policeman. The police went full robocop on these woman under the covid laws of banning protests ( they didn't steam in with the angry BLM and climate protestors for some reason...)

So now when this goes through it means the draconian laws that were here temporarily are now even stronger. If you push a statue into a river you can get 10 years. If you make a noise or are deemed a nuisance at a protest you can get held at her majesty's pleasure for a long time.

I'd they hadn't gone in so violently against the women we would never have known what future awaits. So the covid laws have become life as was predicted by many of the Muh freedom types in here.

There was an Irish scientist on the one o clock news today. The radio version and he was fuming. He was saying that there are now 30k people, the most vulnerable people who are missing out on the vaccine today and its probable that some of them will get the virus and be put statistically much greater peril than if they'd had the jab. There are also stats that say the pfizer one has slightly more clot cases too. It's minuscule for both and is a ridiculous situation that is baffling.

Such bullshit going on. As I've mentioned before, I lost an extremely close family member and because of the restrictions here the funeral was absolute shit and we weren't able to be there for the passing.

Nothing worse than these BLM violent protests being allowed while clamping down with an iron fist against everyone else...

I hope these pieces of shit burn in hell...

I'm going to the second funeral since covid started tomorrow. It's all more regulated but we can be there and mourn together. For sure this has to be possible.

More contagious variant that has taken over in Brazil. The vaccines work against it, but Brazil has a large population and it's going to take time to vaccinate. Plus they only have a limited supply of vaccines.
