@CovidFree ‘s 1st wife was Inuit and she was eaten by an orca. He doesn’t like to talk about it, I think it’s still very painful for him.
That what he tells people, but in reality she left him after she was eaten out by a guy that called himself the ogre.

jeezhchrist!! did you see those kids putting their hands n arms in the mouth of the killer whale? What's wrong with the adults??
Them some wild beautiful creatures, it's like puttin your hands in the mouth of a Kangaroo!!

What you gonna do if the whale clamped down and stuck it in reverse w/the kid, dive in and chase him/her/it/them/they?

Seriously, I don't think I'd be letting my kids go as far as they did in that video. When it comes to wild animals of any kind It takes one second for your life to change forever.

you can trust sharks though

100%. i only recently learned that both great whites and orcas can be swam with. and the latter is on my bucket list

and of course, never let my child do that

I dive and honestly, i have more fear of some fish, like a barracuda then whales or sharks

I know some local aquariums let members dive/swim with the fish/sharks or help with maintenance (sorry no whales)
here is the NE Aquarium in Boston

I also find it odd that Orcas dorsal fin folds over when kept in captivity

But the shark has no issues staying erect

Whales are above sharks on the food chain, I saw it on a documentary:

If confronted with a shark, use a chainsaw:

Failing that, a solid punch should do the trick:

Living about a half hr away i've been there a lot, it's cool as fck if you're into nature/ocean life. I've had saltwater fish tanks off and on my whole life and I love to dive so I enjoy being there, It always feels like the 1st time there every time i walk through the front door.

Depending on the time of year there's so much to see/do in Boston and you found this to be the best part, what happened did you come in the winter?

I did, in mid-March. I was actually visting Connecticut, but drove to Boston just for the aquarium. I wanted to do the whale watch but it opened two days before I left so I didn’t have time.

Makes sense. Just about everything is closed up tight till the beginning of spring, more so now cause of covid

This was 2019, no COVID issues, just winter ones. It snowed right before and there was still ice all over outside the aquarium. 2020 summer we were able to go to the Roger William’s Zoo in RI.

an amazing battle of Evolution is being played out in real time between the orca and the amazing great white creatures.

the orcas have developed a taste for the amazing creatures liver. as a consequence they have learnt how to drown a great amazing with team work. And easily. So they do this but only eat the sweat bread that is the liver.

the great white has been observed killing only baby orcas. Although tbf it’s not like they could take down a fully grown adult.

who knows what happened first and who is the bad guy.
Orcas are also known to harass other larger species of shark, often forcing them into shallow coastal waters, where the sharks die from stress/exhaustion or lack of oxygen after beaching themselves.

The adult orca is the king of the sea, and tbh it's not even a contest.

brilliant doc. sucks cause the three people he killed probably loved him. but you can't blame the dude; slavery is immoral
No attacks on humans by wild orcas afaik. It is clearly the stress of captivity that causes them to attack their human trainers.

Whenever I go to the beach, I make sure I'm not the furthest person out. There always has to be one person further out than me.

Because if jaws shows up and starts wrecking shop, I need someone to keep him busy while I swim/run to the shore.
